Bahrain- Started 4th on primes, and was 4th after the first lap.
As I usually run out of fuel in the longer races, I spent the
first five laps in standard mode. Because of this, Murph caught
and passed me quite quickly after his early skirmish on the
first lap. Once Murph and HSV pitted, I turned the engine up and
tried to maintain the gap to Maca which was about 9.5 secs. He
had a spin a couple of laps before the pit stops which cut the
gap to about 3 secs but crucially, I made a couple of errors on
my in lap which dropped me just behind the Murph and HSv battle.
It took me a couple of laps to pass Murph and both he and HSV
had good pace on the primes. Murph ran wide in the penultimate
corner which allowed me to get alongside and pass into the final
turn. About a lap later HSV ran wide at the double apex down
hill left in sector two. As he ran over the exit rumble strip I
assumed the racing line. Not the viscious chop HSV reported. By
this stage Maca was long gone so I just maintained the gap ahead
of HSV and Murph until the flag.
Abu Dahbi- Managed to Qualify second on primes but could have
possibly been on pole if I hadn't been so conservative in the
final sector. Still it was a team one-two so I wasn't too
disappointed. I actually got a decent start for a change (!) and
was just ahead before turn 1. If I'd been more aggressive the
contact with might have been avoided. I think we just being too
cautious and leave each other space which meant we entered the
turn side-by-side and as a result I just touched Murph and spun
him. I waited and let him by which dropped back about 10 secs
behind the leader. Murph spun at the left hander after the long
front straight and in my attepts to avoid hitting him, incurred
a penalty for an illegal overtake. In clear I was catching the
leaders by about a second a lap and after they pitted, I wound
up about 3 secs behind Maca. The gap stayed pretty constant and
I pitted a lap earlier to try and undercut. I was surprised
about how far I was ahead after Maca stopped because my stop was
pretty average and so was my in lap so i assumed the dreaded pit
bug must have reared it's ugly head. Maca closed the gap to
about a second as we crossed the line but because of the
penalty, I was demoted to second. You can't win 'em all!

dreglar, there was a vicious chop, murph saw it and wasnt
impressed, it was at the corner after the double left apex.
honestly surprised i didnt get a penalty as you swerved across
me and hit my wheel and i have gotten pen's for that in the
past. also surprised at your denial
