       race reports: suzuka & yeongam

       suzuka:
Q 5th i just couldnt get a real good lap in,i was on a absolute
flyer i was down half a sec on the first two sectors but hsv was
in front of me and he made a lil mistake and i had to back off
       oh well
the race i jumped straight to 4th coming into the first corner
saw livo and dreg go into it side by side they touched and livo
flew off,but from my view it was a accident i dont think dreg
knew he was there, then i think dreg went of somewhere in the 2nd
sector so i moved to second, and god damn it lizzie just pulled
away its ridicolous how quick that guy is.id love to sit and
       watch that guy play :)
bit of a blur what happened after that i lost a place to murph
cuz i spun at the last corner and finished 5th
       yeongam:
Q 2nd i was a bit suprised cuz i wasent really happy with my
laps and thought i would of got pushed down the field.
Race had a good start went side by side with liz into the first
corner we both gave eachother room but i had to pull out of the
attemept pass i think at turn 3 liz spun,i was shocked and
relieved i pitted on lap 7 or 8 quite pleased i got that many
laps on the softs.once i had the hard tyres on i was feelin good
i came out behind striker and livo and murph was 2 secs behind
me so i was in 5th,,striker is prob 1 of the cleanest drivers
that ive played with he had a moment at turn 3 and instead of
fighting me for the position he backed off and gave it to
me.well done mate :)next was my team mate livo i couldnt really
get on his ass for 2 or 3 laps but when i did i think he had a
lil moment and i passed him 2 corners later i just tapped the
throttle on a kerb and bang i spun ,my heart sank as i watched
livo, striker and murph go by........once those guys pitted i was
back in 3rd with 5 laps to go my tyres were goin on me really
quick and i didnt want to turn the engine down,i could see liz
and maca behind me chasin me down with 2 laps to go i thought i
could hold them off with some really good defensive
driving....then at the entry to the last few corners liz was on
my ass and maca not far behind as we enterd the last corner to
start the last lap liz tried to pass i was hugging the wall and
so was he but he tried 2 pass me and he must off hit my left
rear cuz my car just done a 90 degree turn into the wall here we
are 2 cars stopped half way around the last corner, and poor maca
at full speed got a nice suprise ...i asked liz what happened
after the race and he said he shouldnt have tried to pass there
his mistake...dont feel bad mate these things happen ;) the only
thing is i thought he mite have gave the position back but oh
well :) in my eyes besides that it was a tough race and i think
       every1 drove really well :)

Sazuka - Unfortunately messed up my best lap in qualifying by
spinning at the last chicane. the following 2 laps were ok, but
not good enough to top lizzes. At the start got a crap getaway,
tried to follow lizzes through turn 1 flat but didn't realise
livo was on the outside. As he swept into turn one i tagged his
back wheel, I'm sorry mate it all happened a bit too quick for
me to avoid contact. I set off after lizzes but over-cooked it
into the hairpin and fell back to fourth about 7 sec off the
lead. pitted on lap 2 and came out behind striker. I caught him
through degner and he ran wide and spun back onto the track
infront of me! amazingly neither of us got damaged (i don't
think)... After pitstops i came out about 3.5 secs behind lizzes
which crept up to about 4 secs until the last couple of laps
when i was able to cut the margin to 2 secs at the finish. Great
win lizzes despite a messy pitstop.
Yeongam - Qualified on primes because I knew that lizzes would
be super quick. ended up third on the grid so i was reasonably
happy. Stayed out of trouble on the first lap and benefitted
from an incident between lizzes and macca. assumed the lead when
murph and gun pitted and slowly built a gap to macca behind of
about 10 secs. came out second behind drew and resumed the lead
once he pitted a lap latter. Held on for a comfortable 1-2 ahead
       of murph. great driving mate!

Suzuka: During the week I decided to put all my eggs in one
basket & go 4 a race win at this track as I hated Korea.
Unfortunately with the addition of Lizzies I would have to fight
Dregs for 2nd. Finally put in a decent qualy lap 4 the 1st time
since Germany & was just 2 tenths behind pole. I knew I would
jump Dreg at the start so my goal was to finish 2nd. Turn 1 I
thought Dreglar was well behind me by the time we made contact.
Maybe I should of started the race using the outside view & then
maybe it would of prevented the incident. Lost so much time in
the gravel :(. Was losing time behind Murphy so decided to pit
early. Unfortunately I botched my out lap & was left in a foul
mood for the remainder. HSV marginally kept race position when
he left pits which was the only type of action I had. He made a
mistake few laps later so I finished 6th.
Korea: Qualified 7th/started 6th. My goal was to finish in the
points. Was racing striker pretty much whole race. Was worried
about holding my team mate up but there never seemed a good
point to let him pass. Finally happened but then seen him go off
sigh lol. Came in for options 5 laps left. Came out in 8th &
finished 6th. Really dislike this track!
2nd in the championship & guaranteed 2nd in constructors :/. Not
liking my chances of finishing ahead of Murph, your very quick
       mate :)

Missed Suzuka on account of I was commuting home from work :P
Slid in to the Korea race though...
Qually 6th, got held up on 2 out of my 3 hot laps (HSV and murph
messing around on both occasions...come on guys, that really
wasn't cool), and had a nice smack with the wall on my 4th, so I
       just gave up.
Thought I would start on primes and get them done and overwith
first...clean first turn, we all made it through unscathed
without a single tap IIRC. Made a divebomb pass on dreglar at
the first hairpin and thought I had the spot until I knicked the
inside curb with my RR and slid off to the outside and suddenly
saw livolay come past. Next incident...made the sharp right
hander in the middle of sector 2 to find lizzies spun sideways,
so tried to go around him on the rumble strips and failed. Fell
to 8th and couldn't make up any more ground until everyone
started pitting for primes. I was the last car to pit (from the
lead) and fell to 7th. Made several mistakes after putting on
the options, and thought I was pretty much doomed until I saw
gun/lizzies/maca spun off on the front stretch. After that
stint, found myself standing on the 3rd podium spot. Lizzies put
in a good effort at the last few moments of the race to try and
get past, but I held him off.
Race wasn't all that great for me, but I will take what I can.
Just wish I could have done suzuka as well.

Suzuka: Couldn't seem to get a whole lap together, and just
scraped into pole. Got what I thought was a terrible start, but
then looked in my rear view to see the others a couple of
lengths behind... phew! Once I was into turn one I went straight
to work on rythym. Saw Dreglar spin at the hairpin, and knew
that I was a good chance, didn't make a single mistake on track
but my pitstop was a complete disaster. Braked way too early for
the limiter line, then hit my lollipop man. Afetr I cane out had
a bit of a margin to Dreglar and made sure I didn't make any
mistakes in the last few laps.
Korea: Got good pole, was worried about the first corner, but
got through cleanly. Made a mistake at turn 3 that let Ugotgun
ahead, but got it back again... good clean racing. Coming into
the hairpin in sector 2 I lost the rear and was sitting smack
bang in the middle of the track. Got hit a bit (sorry guys) and
wound up in 5th. Got stuck in traffic, hit Macca (I called it
but he wasn't expecting a pass there) and decided after
following a mid-pack duel around that I was better in space, so
I stopped and (expletive) hit my lollipop man AGAIN!! I was
going so slow I swear. Anyway, resumed in last and gradually
worked my way up the field to 4th. A couple of laps to go I came
up on Ugotgun and decided to try and pass him first opportunity
as Macca was closing on me in soft tyres. Tried to get inside
gun at the last corner, but I didn't call it, so it ended up in
a pile-up which took Macca out. Sorry boys... thanks gun for
being philosophical about it all and sorry Macca... you should
start kicking Black cats mate cause I dont think your luck can
       get any worse.

suzuka had a really good hard race chasing dreglar an lizzies
all the way in the end third a good solid points finish
korea had a decent start to the race was closly followed by
lizzies untill slight touch sent me round no harm done all in
racing liz , worked my way back through the feild after starting
on the primes, but wen i pitted i got the pitlane bug an it cost
me bout 12 secs so should of been right behind murph on exiting
but it wasnt the case , was catching lizzies an gun at bout 2
secs a lap got within 2 secs with 2 laps to go a thought i was a
real show for a double podium untill coming around the final
bend at full tilt and saw 2 cars in the middle of the track bang
       story done .
i think u a right liz thats 7 dnfs for the season now its really
cost me i figuered out that 4 of the seven dnfs i was in second
an the rest i was 5th or up so i guess i would of been alot
       better season for me :(
