"You're not getting any drugs this way, y'know?" Richard raised
his eyebrows as best as he could but he remained looking like a
train rolled over him. "I kind of have a tiny person to take
care of. I bathed him in noddles but those might be consumed by
now." In a normal situation he'd probably be able to break the
handcuffs that were used to chain him to the bed forcefully but
right now he was so drugged it felt like he didn't even had any
muscles that he could use.
"I could also give you money or something, man. Be my friend and
help me out here. I'm not mentioning your extra limbs either."
Richard pouted, "Don't tell me you haven't seen worse. Well, I
know I already looked worse, at least. I think..."

egg squinted thoughtfully while pocketing some painkillers and
tongue depressors.
"money? how much money. I could work with money" He tilted his
head and paced a bit closer, tail twitching curiously as he
looked over richard's restraints.
He was starting to get a few familiar pangs from this creature,
but ignoring them seemed much easier than chasing them, so he
let them drift off thoughtlessly.

Richard closed his eyes as if he wanted to visualize the money
he was talking about. "Like...man...I think I got around a few
hundred bucks on the bank. Right now I'm too drugged to number
things well.." he opened his eyes again, looking like a helpless
dumb dog. "We just need to get my stuff from those meanies. He
stuck his tongue out at the nurses who passed by thought it
wasn't really noticed.

egg tried not to look as grossed out by the whole ordeal as he
was, though he admitted to himself that he really wasn't trying
hard.
"yeah? I could help you for two" The restraints didn't look hard
to deal with, just hard to get out of. maybe with a long stick
or something...?

"Then we have a deal." Richard said, wiggling his way up to not
completely lay on the bed anymore though it was hard with the
restraints.
He attempted to clear his head from this foggy crap which was
caused by whatever they gave to him but it wasn't really a
success. It was weird though, the nurses giving him these things
came way more often than they should. Which means he either
needed to be drugged really hard or they were going to overdose
him with the injections. Whatever the case was he didn't really
care in this moment. All he wanted to do was to get out of here
and get his son.
He looked over to Egg again, raising his eyebrows. "Y'know, my
friend..." he wanted to scratch his chin but remembered that his
arms were rather useless right now. "...I cannot shake this
feeling off that I've seen you somewhere before." There as a
moment of silence, then he added "Then again I'm everywhere and
nowhere, haha."
The passing of the doctors in front of the window made him
nervous. They were talking way too much while being so close...

Looking him over a bit more, Egg hesitated briefly before
grabbing a pair of plastic gloves and pulling them on (one
awkwardly stretched to fit his extra arm) and he stepped over to
start tugging at Richard's restraints curiously.
"what're you in here for anyway" Egg ignored the familiarity
comment, since it seemed complicated and gay. In hindsight
though, he really didn't care about why he was there either.
Whatever.
He popped off the buckles on one of Richard's arms.

"Meh." he shrugged as if he couldn't really understand the
reason why he was here either. "I guess that's what you get for
being a mutant, y'know..." once again Richard looked Egg over
though didn't comment on him this time. "Ohhh, it's really as
if humans don't like mutants, haha! Where should one go though
then, humans are kind of everywhere." there was some spite in
his voice, but it was overrun by his overly cheerful attitude.
When Egg was able to get one of his arms free his smile grew
bigger, hurrying him to fully release him. "Come, come on~.
---Oh, btw...did you get your annual shots? Just asking.
Well...then again, whatever. It's not like I'm desease-ridden
anyway. Y'know, this hospital is just..." he gestured around
with one hand. "...I think they got some skeletons in their
closet." he whispered way too loudly to let it actually count it
as a whisper.

egg frowned at his strange companion a lot, letting him talk at
him while he worked the restraints off. "do you have, like. any
of your goddamn marbles in there" He asked out of impoliteness
as he grunted the other arm free.
Before moving on to Richard's legs, Egg set his palms on the
table and leveled himself so he could speak aggressively face to
face with him, high-teen to diseased-stranger.
"and don't you fucking worry about me getting sick. just worry
about me getting PAId instead, aight? if you were bullshitting
that I'm dropping you in a ditch"
