MOD- Event 15 ONSLAUGHT

Welcome to the first x-event to be hosted on our fancy new
forums!
To kick it off, we're setting up this exciting prompt, which can
be played out in whatever ways people want- text, picture,
self-rp, joint threads and a mod started thread will be at your
disposal, so have fun ;>
PLOT:
Magneto, missing his oldest friend and confidant, enlisted the
help of a telepath in waking Charles Xavier from his long coma.
The telepath allowed Magneto to enter Professor Xavier's
future-flung mind and usher him back to the present. During the
psionic contact, Magneto's anger, grief and lust for vengeance
entered Xavier's consciousness; commingling with every
long-suppressed negative feeling Xavier had endured during his
imprisonment in the future. This aggregation resulted in the
being known as Onslaught. Wanting only one thing - for the
future he had seen to not come to pass - Onslaught sought a way
to steal the future from a parallel dimension and in doing so
ripped the multiverse asunder.
Now everything that was, is, once was, could, or should be is
converging in on our universe and on the man who thought he
could play god.
SPECIAL RULES:
-Everyone is free to make and maintain as many alternate
versions of their characters as they want! No need to miniapp
them or get them approved, though we'll be happy to talk over
concepts with people to styleguide/etc.
-Given this, starting from this event on, the three character
limit is removed, and you're allowed to make and keep as many
characters (including AU versions from this event ;>) as you
want!
-After the event, we will present the opportunity to 'remove'
any characters you don't want as permanently or impermanently as
you want, so feel free to experiment as much as you want and
let's have a dang blast!
-As charas appear they will be listed in the post below!
SOME IDEAS FOR AU's: (these are all just possibilities! you're
free to create your own situations, modify them, or anything
else you want!)

weird science utopia.

> -Here Comes Tomorrow (Earth-15104): The sentient bacteria
Sublime takes over Beasts body and tries to use the Phoenix to
destroy all creation. Beast creates living weapons from the DNA
of old teammates. The X-Men are fighting their own for survival.

based on and offworld.

evolve into anthropomorphic canines instead of mutants

> -The Big X-Change (Earth-1007): Gender swapped world.
> Flavor: gender swap

> -Exiles (Earth-33629): Mutants are celebrities, treated much
the same as the Avengers.
> Flavor: Pure superheroing.

> -Wolverine, Lord of the Vampires (Earth-9250): Vampire
Wolverine takes over New York; vampirizes many heroes and
villians. World quarantines the area.
> Flavor: Vampires

> Pasts alternate versions of characters from distant times

> -1602 (Earth-311): the X-Men formed by Spaniard Carlos Javier,
instead of being mutants his students were known as witchbreed,
born with special abilities that saw them cast out of normal
society. Enrolled at Master Carlos Javier’s Select College for
the Sons of Gentlefolk.
