To start crafting buy a chisel and gems from the store in
edgeville.
Here is a chart of the xp/profit/losses
This should help players decide which shop gems to craft.

Keep crafting inventories of Diamonds.
2b. This method will give you profits.
Keep crafting inventories of Red topaz gems.
2c. This method will ensure that you don't lose money.
Craft an inventory of Red topaz and then craft two inventories
of Diamonds.

Thanks for the post! Unfortunately these are the old Crafting
buy-ins, they have been adjusted on 21/12/13.
