She was joyous that Raphael had been selected as Rapidfire's
second apprentice. It wasn't as if they had many people in the
clan either way, but the puppy seemed like the correct choice.
In fact, as they walked, Frostkit contemplated all of the
amazing and terrible times they would have together as
colleagues! They had just met the other day and already they
were beginning to form strong bonds with each other. "Okay," the
medicine cat apprentice said with that cute little smile of
hers. "First stop: chamomile patch. I eat these when I'm
stressed and use them for decoration." She gestured to the
flower behind her ear. Turning to hir, she nodded. "Do you wanna
guess what they're used for?"

The puppy trotted on behind Frostkit, who zee nicknamed
"Frostykins". It was quite a fitting nickname, and Raph was in a
pretty good mood today as usual. Zis first day as apprentice! It
would be quite fun! Raphael quite enjoyed it. "Chamomile? Is
that the yellow orange one Frosty? I guess... They help with
upset tummies?"

Frostkit liked her nickname. The little pet name she had come up
for hir was most bland and boring (it was only a shortened
version of zis name) but it served its purpose. Blinking her
bambi and pastel blue eyes, she tilted her head to the side and
observed the cute little golden canine. "They have white
petals," the medicine cat apprentice explained, sitting down on
the sparse moor grasses and glancing up at the larger puppy,
"and a golden, yellowish center." Once again, she gestured to
the flower behind her ear. "That's what it looks like!" Small
ears swiveling around on her small head, she used them to detect
things instead of her one working eye.
"Nope," she answered, clucking her tongue and laughing. "Guess
again, Raph" Spacestar's daughter told hir, licking her lips.

The puppy looked at her and nodded in understanding. The pup
grinned madly and smelled the flower. "Smells... good
Frostykins! I'm sure the den must smell pretty good too! Maybe
it cures colds? Like the nasty ones the old grumpy cats get."
Zee said with a giggle.

The three-moon-old kitten let out a small giggle towards hir
enthusiasm. It was nice to have someone so eager and excited to
learn, like she had been when Copperburnt had promoted her. She
didn't know that she had Frostedpaw inside of her, but she
carried the same kind of childish enthusiasm that the albino
kitten had. With a nod, a smile crept onto her features,
lighting up her face. "It does," she said to hir, nodding in
agreement before leaning back and picking a few flowers.
"I like the was it smells. And, nope! It makes people calm when
they're stressed," she informed him mater-of-factually.

The golden retriever puppy nodded and smiled to Frosty. She was
pretty nice! They would get along well for sure! Zee watched and
looked towards zis fellow apprentice. "You know much more than
me!" Raphael chuckled, "I'm sure you know all the herbs Frosty!"
