So what's the yellow thing? {open}

Tumbling into the den a little, Raphael picked up various herbs
and looked at them intently. They all smelled so good... It was
tempting to eat them! But zee didn't and instead went out to
find a couple of herbs that seemed to be running short. Zee
didn't know their names, but the puppy did know what they looked
like!

"Raphael? What are you doing?" The petite tom asked as he padded
back into the den, fresh chevril root at his paws, placed there
in order for him to speak. If anything happened to the puppy
while he hadn't been here, Rapidfire would be distraught,
because he had really taken a liking to the adorable little
thing. "Wait a second, do you know what that herb is called?"

"Raphael!" squeaked the small medicine cat apprentice, flying
out of the shadows with a flourish, bambi and blue eyes filled
with utter worry for her acquaintance. "Don't die!" She tried to
identify the herb zee was searching for, but since they had
little to none she couldn't find them. Walking past her mentor
towards the caramel colored puppy, Frostkit nudged hirs
shoulder. She was convinced that he was going to eat yarrow and
throw up everywhere. Or even worse... consume some yew or other
poisonous plants! Sighing, she sat down next to him and looked
at him pointedly. "I'll come with you to get some herbs, okay?"

"N-N-Nothing! Honest!" The puppy said to Rapidfire, hoping zee
wouldn't get in trouble. "I just saw you were missing some of
this long sweet smelling thing and wondered if I could help find
some! I think it starts with an L but that's all I remember."
Raph had a short memory. "I won't die! I'm way too young! Yea
yea! And you can come Frostykins!" The puppy looked at Rapidfire
with a pleading expression, "Pwease?"

"I'm not mad, no worries. I just don't want you to get sick."
Rapidfire sighed. So, he didn't know the herb. That was alright,
Raphael had already caught his eye for the new apprentice. If he
did well in the training? Rappy would promote him. "Oh, go ahead
you two. Be careful, though, alright?"

"Yessir!" the petite blue and white kitten nodded to her mentor,
turning to the canine beside her and giving a brief nod before
nuzzling him forwards and skipping off with him. "Come on,
Raphael... I can show you were the herb patches are, the little
spot where I find my chamomile when I need it." Her small paws
made marks in the dirt, and she felt safe and comfortable with
hir. More so than she had in the past moons of her life.
Frostedpaw was still within her, and although the small
alabaster feline was gone Breakingstar's daughter still held the
same slight fear of toms and Cercis cats. Mumma had advised her
to stay away from them, after all.
As they finally disappeared into the tall grasses of the moors,
she tipped back the small chamomile flower from behind her ear
and smiled.

"Wait! Before you go, I want to ask Raphael something. Make sure
you learn while you're out there, because I want my newest
apprentice at least a little educated before we train later at
sunset. And when we go to the medicine meeting. Understood?"
Rapidfire meowed with a small grin, hoping the puppy would
understand what he was hinting at, that he had pretty much just
promoted the puppy. Now all that was needed was acceptance from
Raphael, and he had himself a new apprentice!

"Okay. I wouldn't want to get sick either." Zee responded
truthfully to Rapidfire. "We will be careful! I think it was...
hang on I know this one... Lav-Laven-Lavendor. Labrador.
Equador... No that's not it. Lavender! Yes!" The puppy looked at
Frosty and nodded. They would find the herbs easy!
But once Rapidfire spoke, zee ended up with a massive smile
plastered on to Raphael's face. "You mean I'm your new
apprentice? Thank you Rapidfire! I won't disappoint you!" The
puppy turned to Frosty, "Come on slowpoke there are herbs to
get!"

"Yes, good. And yes, my new apprentice. You and Frostkit work
well together, I can tell. Don't stay out that late, alright? I
want to train at sunset." He purred, smiling at them as he
watched them.

At the mention of Raphael being the new medicine cat apprentice,
Frostkit's face lit up. At first she hadn't been too keen on the
idea of a new apprentice, thinking the kitten wouldn't like her
or treat her badly or act like he/she was above her... But
instead, Raphael was working with her! Zee was a puppy, a kind
one, and although she couldn't tell whether zee was a boy or a
girl, she couldn't care less. It wasn't as if she identified
animals by gender either way, considering she was demipansexual.
With her ears perked, she licked the puppy and nodded. "Yaaaay
Raphael!" she chanted, jumping up and down and almost
unsheathing her claws before she realized she had none.
"Okay, Rappy! Don't worry, we'll take care of each other."The
half-blind kitten smiled towards Rapidfire, before turning
around with the fair-furred canine and hopping towards the areas
where a plethora different herbs and flowers were.
