Atlas. Not feeling very, er, happy today, the black smoke wanted
to get this over with. Rather than call them formally she did
just the opposite and continued, "Everyone who was in the higher
ranks, I don't even know your names-- you're all out. I'm not
even sure if we had any others than me," The One clucked her
tongue with distaste and went on, "Lurch, I would like you to be
one of your Healers," Atlas of Infinite Orbits searched for the
tom who she knew aspired to fill that position. If not, shucks,
she was fooled by his dedication.
"There's more than just one promo, you hear me? Gather if you
wanna' know, folks," Her amber eyes scanned the volcanic camp
for others. Ears perked for any sort of congratulating. No? What
a shame. Maybe no one'll be promoted then after all.

"Oh, cool," the tom grinned as he heard Atlas's voice. It was
quite true that he had certain feelings for the female, but

The she cat had never thought about love, nor ones that could
possibly love her. Never having opened her heart before, it
would be hard to now. Perhaps eventually a tom would do just
that, and maybe, just maybe, it would be Lurch. She didn't know,
nor did she ever let it cross her mind. Work came before play.

Gemini was quite new to this, and he blinked. The black and
white tom blink his olive orbs and his tail swished behind him.
He tilted his head. "Madam, what does this happen to be about,
hm?" he asked.

"Interesting." Arabia murmured as he slipped up, his eyes casual
as they usually were, honestly just staring out into oblivion as
he listened to the voices. What were they saying, and who were
they? The Devon Rex had no idea, and it didn't matter. The
robin's egg blue eyed beauty would figure it out eventually.

"Alright you RATS," The One snarled, spitting on the rock with
disgust. No one was active until now. Funny how they needed new
positions and they came to her now, when she needed them. Atlas
already had something in mind and yelled, "I'll be holdin' a
little something called try outs, you hear me? I'll need one or
two of you mutts under my wing, and then two trainees below
that, to begin with," The black smoke announced with a sinister
smile. Heh, they'd have to work for it. Goodie.
"Those of ya' who're wondering who's gonna be my Cardinal, ye,
that's up to me. Want to fill the second position of Healer?"
The One asked with nonexistent brows raised, "Lurch'll hold a
little contest. We'll make the decision together. If you got any
questions, ask me, otherwise, get out of my sight, PLEASE." She
hiccuped and turned on her heel, jumping off the rock and
joining in the crowd. If a cat had an inquiry, they'd come to
her. Yep, that was it.

appropriate subboard/child board. we're still working on that.]
