       Your gonna' go far kid! {p; Almond}

Soldierpaw sat by herself, long blue tail swishing by her side.
She had finally managed to dry off, but still the lingering
feeling of the river water slowed her movements. She looked
around with her golden eyes to try and find the deputy who was
her mentor. Swimming.. She really didn't want to learn, but what
choice did she have? She wanted to be a great warrior, perhaps
even more. She would have to learn sometime.

[center]"Alright, dear, it's time," Libertystatue announced,
emerging from the reeds in her glistening white pelt. Bright
blue eyes trained on the waters that matched the hue of her
optics, she flickered her gaze back to her apprentice, "First
things first. You learn how to swim. Then, we catch water bound
prey. Kapeesh?" The Deputy ran a salmon pink tongue over her
teeth and smiled. She got what she wished for-- an apprentice.
To train and mentor till Warrior hood descended upon her. Oh
       goodie.
"Now, what do you think we do first?" Asked Libby, hoping Sol
would know where to start on her own. Of course, the alabaster
she cat wouldn't be mad if her apprentice didn't know, it just
proved to her a more intelligent student. Sorta.

       "U-Um.."
Sol turned her eyes to the water and gave a small shudder,"W-we
       get in?"

[center]"You think that's what we do? Then do it," The Deputy
instructed with a half smile. Libby would guide her, but not
teach her. This was something that would come to the RiverClan
apprentice naturally-- she knew. Alabaster paws trailed to the
bank and she sat down, wrapping a tail around her paws, "If I
think you're in danger, I'll get you. Show me what you think you
should do. Wade in slowly where it's shallow, and gradually get
yourself deeper. Remember to breath and keep your head bobbing.
Do not, under any circumstances, submerge completely. Yet."
Libertystatue explained with a lick of the paw. Plain and
simple. For her, at least. It was up to Sol whether or not she
       listened and would fail.

Sol nodded as she stuck a paw into the crystal clear waters,
eyes swooping back to glance at her mentor. It took all of her
strength to stay there and not turn around, dip her head beneath
the beds of reeds and hide away forever. But that would get her
no where. A foot at a time, the patchy colored she cat waded
into the water. It wasn't so bad. In fact.. She wasn't drowning!
She continued onwards until all of her body save her head was
completely submerged. This was it. She could still stop, still
run. With a deep breath, Soldierpaw kicked off of the bank, and
began to glide through the water.
"L-Libby! I'm doing it!" Sol called, spinning in small circles
within the water. She was so proud of herself! Starting now, she
was truly was a Riverclan cat.
