She hated herself. She hated her ear piercing, her ripped out
tongue, her broken legs and marred torso. She was a mess, with
one eye claws out and with the Doctors so grudgingly treating
her wounds. They wanted to prolong her death, she knew it. And
although she couldn't carry kittens, she still felt violated by
Orion's raping her. Crying out of her one remaining, glinting
blue eye, she sighed and leaned into the ruddy water she was
being supplied with.

Slipping in from the shadows, the tom gave a soft sigh, before
rushing forward to press his muzzle against the small she-cat's,
his icy blue eyes still widened in shock from her state, but not
saying anything of it. It didn't exactly matter to him what she
looked like, she was still beautiful to him, more beautiful, for
being strong.
"You're okay."

She spoke telepathically to him, and it was amazing how her
stutter had faded away into nothingness. She winced as she let
out a breath. "You need to get out of here..."

go back to WindClan. You see, um, I was demoted from medicine
cat. But that doesn't matter. What happened here?" Rapidpaw
asked, concern for her more than himself clearly displayed in
his bright, icy blue eyes. Come on, when he thought of the
danger in this room he thought of Circe, that little mute,
declawed, and three-legged doctor who couldn't do anything.
