[font=georgia]That was a lot of infomation for her to take in
but her mind was slowly beggining to adapt to the talk of herbs
and wounds. Burdock root, she had only seen on a few occassions
and she didn't have the faintest idea about what it was and had
only saw members of her family use it when she, or her siblings,
had been bitten by one of those pesky rats so it made sense. "
Ah, ok, I've got it. Cobweb, Dock, Marigold and Burdock root are
all used for scratches, wounds and cuts and sometimes bites. "

"Great, you learn quickly. Broken bones are a hassle, but with
the right care they can be easy to fix! You'll want to chew up
comfrey and apply it to the area where the bone is broken,
obviously, then create some sort of sling sort of thing with
reeds or strong bark on either side of the injured spot, then
wrap it with catch weed or thistle down to hold it in place.
Then no exercise for a moon or so, so it can mend. Dislocation
is a different matter, though, and all you have to do is pop it
back in. Give the patient a stick to bite, so they don't bite
you." The peppy young medicine cat exclaimed with a grin.
