Appearance:
This male has a white underbelly and facial ruff, with
black-tipped ear tufts and a black tail. The main body of his
fur is a deep caramel, with black spots and lines tossed atop
it. Long legs, broad shoulders, and rippling muscle add to the
masculinity of this Eurasian Lynx tom. His eyes are large and a
deep yellow-green with flecks of soft blue.
Thick, short, soft fur covers him from ear to paw, his paw pads
are black and hold fur between the toes, to help him travel on
snow. His paws are overlarge, another way to help him when the
weather is snowy. His nose is a pinkish sort of color, with the
fur being a soft russet shade.
His winter coat holds grey and white, with splatters of black
spots on his legs, but otherwise his pelt remains unchanged.
Each spring the caramel-and-white pelt returns as he sheds his
winter pelt-- and his winter pelt is also thicker than that of
his caramel pelt. He is very tall, as well, and very long and
large. This gives him an advantage in fights, though if one were
to trap him in a small space, he would have little room to move
about and defend himself, let alone attack his enemy.
Personality:
Eternalflame is a kind, gentle soul who almost never says a
word-- but he doesn't have to, at least not with those who know
him well. He doesn't have to tell his family that he loves
them-- he shows them. To him, words mean nothing unless action
follows through.
He is not, however, shy, and will immediately stick up for
what's right if he sees something going on that shouldn't be
going on. He can let someone know of his appreciation or
disapproval with a single glance, and the only outward sign of
his anger is the venom that springs into his eyes.
If you get him really, really angry, though, nothing happens. He
appears totally calm, and is completely expressionless-- eyes
and everything. To some, it's scary. To others, it's scary later
when he gets aggressive. Many prefer the venom-eyed look to the
utterly calm one, because that look means you've made him angry
enough to kill. He hates liars, thieves, arrogant cats, and
refuses to have anything to do with them.
His love for his family and loyalty to his Clan is unquestioned,
but who he'd put first is often under debate, as he is just as
loyal to one as to the other. He knows, though, that if the time
came where he had to choose, he would stay with his family no
matter the pain of leaving his Clan behind.

matter where they're from, tendency to over think things.
History:
Eternalflame was dumped in ShadowClan at only a moon old, taken
in by a queen who'd only had one kit and too much milk, and
raised up as a ShadowClanner. He never questioned the fact that
he was not the same kind of cat as his mother, though it was
obvious to him she was not his birthmother, and he strove to
bring honor to his name.
He fell in love with another ShadowClan lynx, by the name of
Songlyric, and together they had two cubs, Eternalkit and his
sister, Dancingkit. They had fallen for each other as
apprentices, and she was impregnated in their apprentice days.
His beloved mate was killed in battle when the kits were two
moons, having left them with the other queens in order to fight
for her Clan. He tried to save her, but was too late to block
the blow from the cat who took her life. He exacted his revenge
and once the battle was done, he dragged Songlyric's corpse back
to camp.
They sat vigil that night, the sixteen moon old warrior grieving
heavily for his lost mate. His kits were devastated, like
himself, and couldn't sleep without him for a moon afterward. He
grew heavily protective of them around strangers, and refused to
attend any Gatherings he was invited to, for fear of something
going wrong while he was away.
Roleplay Sample:
The twenty moon old warrior smiled proudly at his cubs as they
received mentors and their apprentice names. He looked at the
sky, knowing his mate, Songlyric, was watching, staring proudly
at them. When they got to him, he nuzzled them, and they looked
to the sky as well. "We'll make you proud, mama. We promise."
His eyes grew moist with tears he refused to shed as he listened
to their promise, and he murmured, "You've already made her
proud."
Looking at him with large blue-green eyes, his daughter gave him
a small smile. "I hope so." She murmured. His son nodded
agreement, his eyes large and serious as well. He had a darker,
deeper shade of blue for his eyes, and he was taller and of a
heavier build than his sister-- but that was how it should have
been. Eternalflame's daughter was a slight little thing, just as
her mother had been, and he adored her.
A battle came that stole Eternalpaw's life. He was given his
warrior name of Eternalsong, and Dancingpaw and Eternalflame
grieved for their loss. Another battle almost stole Dancingpaw,
and after that, the two had visions of Eternalsong and Songlyric
telling them they would be reunited one day, and that they
should not grieve.
