[font=georgia][color=black]So he seemed like more of a player
than Trophypaw. Honestly, of all the medicine cat love drama
going around at the moment, he was only after Frostedkit, or was
it Frostedpaw now? Whatever, all that the seven moon old matte
grey tabby medicine cat knew was that he had strong feelings for
the pretty little medicine cat apprentice. But they were from
different clans, and were both medicine cats. So, Rapidkiss or
Frostedfire didn't seem like the best match made in StarClan,
did it? Rapidpaw had decided a little swim in the river would
help take his mind off of everything, so the medicine cat had
made his way to the part of the river that ran through
ThunderClan territory. Allowing a soft smile to form across his
maw, and the little runt sized tom of seven moons waded into the
river. It was cold and sent chills through his body, but it
wasn't long before the currents tripped him, and Rapidpaw felt
himself being dragged down the river. Remembering the fact that
he couldn't swim, he parted his jaws to let out a shriek for any
cat that happened to be passing, to see if they could take the
time to help him. "Help!"

Newspaperpaw had been sitting out of camp gazing into the sky.
She let out a sigh, it had been tough these days. Her fellow mca
had died mysteriously, and now she was the only mca. It was more
stressing then she thought it would be. She had made an excuse
to go looking for herbs, but she had just been strolling around.
But then suddenly, she heard a shriek and lept up, who was in
danger? Was is a clanmate? It didn't come from camp, but from
the river. She raced over with her lean, but short legs and saw
a cat splashing around. Are you kidding me? But then she caught
a sign of its face, well the toms face, and saw Rapidpaw the
Thunderclan mc. She leaped into the water not thinking through
what would happen. She gritted her teeth as she stroked over to
the tom with struggle. Even for a Riverclanner, the currents
grip was fiercly strong. Finally her jaw wrapped around
Rapidpaw's scruff, and the even littler she-cat dragged him out.
She layed him on the shore on the Riverclan side, and checked if
he was breathing. She did everything a medicine cat was supposed
to do when a cat supposedly drowned. She was panting and was
freezing cold, but knew he would be colder. She had thick fur
but he wasn't from Riverclan so he wouldn't. Newspaperpaw bended
down and let her tongue rasp againest his fur softly, trying to
dry it.
"Are you okay?"

his icy blue eyes still shut, unable to match a voice with a
name. So, blinking open his eyes, the medicine cat suddenly
recognized the she-cat as that nice little RiverClan medicine
cat apprentice. "Newspaperpaw. Thanks." He meowed once more,
dipping his head softly.

face to her loved ones to him. "It was nothing." She meowed
shyly. The riverclan mca sat down, thinking he was okay now.
"Well...How are you?" Newspaperpaw asked.[/center]

"Umm, good. I was on my way to WindClan, but, I can stay here?"
Rapidpaw meowed, giving her an awkward glance, mind flashing
back to what Pinkpaw had told him in the den, making him want to
leave and run back to his clan.

more in your condition, but its your will." She sweetly meowed.
When she smiled, her eyes looked like crescent moons, and it was

"I honestly think I'll be fine, but if you insist, you're the
medicine cat around here anyways." Rapidfire responded with a
shrug, not wanting to get in trouble on a territory that clearly
was not his own.

the handsome tom, but she wasn't an idiot to suddenly creep him
