bright emerald eyes unmistakable in the nonexistent light.
Makopaw's banded tail lashed in the air as he searched for his
mentor, whiskers twitching. "I've got something to ask of you,"
he muttered with pursed lips.

the bright yet minuscule medicine cat pulled herself out of a
soft song she was signing, and directed her full attention to
Makopaw. "Well isn't this a hoot and toot! Fire away, Makopaw!"
The optimistic and cherry feline meowed brightly.

Makopaw cleared his throat. "I think I'm ready for my full
title, Prairiedog," he told the cheery medicine cat with a
slight grimace.

help me pick our new apprentice now." Prairiedog meowed
brightly, licking his nose softly before letting out a whoop and
padding off.
