I'M BRINGING SEXY BACK ( private; previous alphas & betas )

This forest had been too quiet for too long. What was the point
of watching over the packs when there was only one to watch
over? It wasn't even fun looking after that pathetic group of
tree-dwellers. They probably couldn't even defend themselves if
some kind of animal attacked. Shimmer wanted Snow Pack back, the
fierce and brave warriors.
She was just itching to say something to a certain young female
to tell her to run away and build up the future Snow Pack army.
But her dead packmates probably hated her enough for being the
main cause of the war that killed them all, and she didn't want
to stir up anymore trouble between themselves. She didn't want
to be killed again.
Though the reclusive female hated the idea, it was the only
thing that would work to make sure no one got angry-- she had to
hold a meeting with the others to discuss the refounding of the
packs. The others would surely be angered if she only brought
back Snow Pack; the other ones could come back too, she
supposed. "Yo, guys! Important meeting!" the wolfdog howled as
loudly as she could. An afterthought soon came to her that she
didn't want just anyone here, only the important people. She had
to revise the message to, "Only the last five alphas are
invited."
And now, she would wait.

Zakarei was one of the first to show up, but he stayed well away
from Shimmer. There had been a sort of rivalry between them, and
it was their fault that the war happened. So yeah, he disliked
her. Grumbling quietly, he sat down.
Lightning was next to arrive. She took her place, sitting down
and just waiting.

Ew, Zak. He was one of the reasons she even hesitated holding
this meeting. She hated the brown wolf with a burning passion.
She sent him an icy glare, but didn't dare say anything.
And then there was lightning. She didn't really have a problem
at all with her; in fact, she'd never spoken a word to her in
her life. She sure hoped this meeting wouldn't bring about new
rivalries between them.
Sitting up straighter, she waited for the others to come.

Zakarei simply ignored her. It was better than arguing with her,
at least.

She sighed gruffly and looked away, shifting her balance. The
white she-wolf was beginning to get rather impatient waiting,
and decided to let a few more wolves join the party, saying, "I
guess betas can come too."

Ooh, a meeting. How exciting! Finally, something interesting was
happening around here-- or at least the former meadow pack delta
hoped it would be. Violet trotted over and sat down a few yards
away from the others; she was never one to mingle with other
packs.

The dark male perked his ears up at the message, excitent
bubbling in his stomach as he walked over. For Shimmer to hold a
meeting, this had got to be interesting. Burn sat next to
Lightning and waited for the former Snow Pack alpha to speak
again.

Shimmer dipped her head to North, and the other two betas she
saw making their ways over. Good, they now had a Meadow Pack
representative. There was still no sign of anyone from Tree Pack
or Hill Pack, which frustrated her. She'd wait a few more
minutes tops, and then she'd have to continue without those
slugs.

Hnng. She supposed she'd have to start now. Zakarei looked like
he was about to walk away any minute now. "I was trying to get
representation from each pack, but some packs are rather lazy.
I'm just going to go on without them."
She was silent for a moment, trying to piece together her
thoughts into words. "We're here to discuss the refounding of
the packs. They dispersed years ago after the Great War, and I
don't think that was really supposed to happen." Yeah, she was
prideful; she'd never take the blame for the cause of the war,
though she knew good and well some of it was her fault. "Are you
all in favor of this?" The speech was pretty blunt, but she'd
elaborate if anyone tried to disagree with her.

"Yes, good job on that," he muttered, but after a long moment of
thinking, finally decided, "Agreed."
Lightning simply nodded.
North didn't need to answer because Shimmer represented Snow
Pack.
