For the first time in a long time, Snow Pack's territory was
being threatened. Shimmer wasn't sure if Rock Pack's leader was
teasing or what, but she wouldn't take a chance. She had to make
sure her pack was as battle ready as they always claimed to be.
"Snow Pack!" the small white wolf howled to summon her pack.
"Time for battle training! And everyone needs to participate--
pups included. Now get a partner and go!"

Winter flicked her ear and frowned. Training? But that was to
haarrddd! The subordinate walked over anyways, placing a bored
look in her eyes.

"Alright," Shimmer woofed to Brook with a pleasant smile, then
suddenly lashed out at the female, aiming to bite her throat and
tackle her to the ground.

Brook took the tackle, but the attemped to weaken her grip by
smacking her with a strong forepaw.
