"Ahem." A large dark brown male loomed over the injured
she-wolf. Bark was a loner, preferring not to join a silly old
pack, but he still had a concern for his fellow canines. "Are
you okay, miss?" He inquired. She obviously was not, poor thing,
but Bark had been in too many encounters with others to know
better than to step right in and help. Wolves had pride and did
not often show their weaknesses, especially to strangers like
him.

He didn't push her down. Please don't power play.)
He held back a sassy remark, like 'obviously' or 'really, I
couldn't tell.' "Do you need a place to stay and recover?" Bark
inquired instead.

"Get up, I know you can do it," Bark growled softly. A broken
leg was painful, yes, but a strong wolf would keep going. The
wolf in front of him was quite pathetic; he'd have to train this
one... "My den's this way," Bark barked, and trotted off, not
too fast, but fast enough that the she-wolf would have to suck
it up and move if she wanted to catch up.

I got up and was able to walk faster and keep a pace with the
wolf I was good at running when I have all 4 paws moving. I can
see the wolf still upahead I slowly caught up my leg was sore
but I fight it and kept moving.

He smiled in satisfaction. "Almost there," Bark yipped.
