Today in Monday and the Rankedz new T8 Season starts on Thursday
in 3 days.
We can have this time an additional competition to the usual
one.
The additional competition comes from the Rankedz statistics
page, which shows most popular ships and Top players on every
ship.
So, on that latter leader board we can make a new competition,
be as top as possible there with your favourite ship.
Of course one can do only 1 excellent battle with 1 ship and
become as top 1 there, compared to others who make 10 or 100
battles. So, knowing that aspect we can make some restrictions
in that aspect. We talk about it later.
But the main competition is as usual, complete 3 leagues as
efficently as possible. The ultimate result is to ocmplete gold
at sprint 1.

You can see that all 3 leagues have a restriction clause that
Cvs are not allowed, except the T9 league description. I think
they could make a T9 premium Cv one day, in such case it could
take part.
From my ship choices i must again take few days to decide which
ships to use. I don't want to experiemnet anymore all my ships
this time, but probably the mood will be to choose only efficent
ones.
I guess i try that:
Bronze: T8 DD Aki
Silver: T9 Dd Kita, T9 DD Groningen.
Gold: T10 Dd Pampa, T10 Sub U4501.
So, 5 ships in total, which i plan to use at the first opinion.
I would announce specific rules and offer again lot of dollars
as prizes but we all know you all ignore it, so i do the
competition for myself.
If anyone wants to join, we can introduce prices as well etc.

Already at T7 premium cruisers have radars, and in T8 many ships
have, so this is one thing to consider for T8 Bronze.
For decades T8 DD ossack has been as a Top 1 performer in
Rankedz T8, and one must be prepared to see it a lot. It has
really strong manuverabiloty plus so long hydro that it is
almost immune against enemy torps. Plus it can have short smokes
so often that he can just make ca 7 fires every battle, and that
already ensures it gets to Top 2-3. He can lose still few gun
duels, so it must be careful still, but it is easy to bait enemy
DDs to use guns and then he sets smoke and kills it. Such
features. The 4 torpedos in total are marginal so he relies on
guns mainly.
Consider using that ship if you have enough experience with it.
Even i consider using it perhaps, not sure. When i grinded
recently the DD Daring line i got enough experience for it, so i
can play it, let's see.

So, consider using Cossack if you feel confident with it. It
surely operates better in smaller 6x6 MMs with no higher tiers
than in bigger MMs with higher tier ships. I myself consider it
too, but probably i won't use it.
Very likely most MMs will have 3 BBs and one way to win is to
torp one BB instantly, and for that you need a bigger torpedo
power, ultimately T8 DD Kagero, you can't do it with Cossacks 4
torpedos. So, there are many ways to get 1 enemy firstly killed.
Also setting a smoke for a soft alley cruiser may produce a
victory eventually. But setting smokes in Bronze is so risky
because players often refuse your smoke, ignore it.
Radarkilling an enemy DD is efficent always, long range
secondaries as well.
I guess a Haru line DD is pretty suitable, can do torpedo
instakill but also do guns duel and insmoke farming, many
options. So, i probably try that T8 DD Haru boat mostly. I
remember i have completed Silverz with it, can't remember.
Would be good to look maps, but i am not sure if they have
announced yet those.
Often new ships are popular in Rankedz. This time there is a new
T8 DD Eskimo, would be wise to look it's features first.
It is not that it is important to do any such homework, but it
is part of a fun to prepare and do reasoning.

You see on my choices screenshot that i have also T8 DD Asashio.
In general such ship is not suitable because the game mode does
not have CVs at all, that makes his BB+CV torps less benefitial.
The same is T10 DD Halland that it is unsuitable because no use
of the main feature AA in CVless game mode. And Halland is bad
in other features as well, it cannot kill anything with soft
torps and his guns cannot win ever any DD duel.
DD Asashio has weakes guns together with T8 DD Kagero, so it's
only hope is to instakill an enemy BB, and if that fails then he
is 3 minutes useless and the enemy team makes during those 3
minutes a victory. You can also think so that 20km torpedo range
is impractical. The closest similar ship to Asashio is Kagero,
and that has much more options, but similarly loses all gun
duels. Kagero's 16 universal torps can hit 6 targets not only
2-3 BBs, hence it is much better, you can get a victory by
instakilling a cruiser very likely with Kagero, but not with
Asashio.
My another choice is T8 DD Oland with 12km soft torps. This is
inefficent for the same reasons as we mentioned for T10 Halland.
T8 Kagero is for example much more efficent than Oland.in
overall Kagero is quite good because his torpedo power can knock
out 1 ship instantly, and that is enough to win. But that Can is
a probability and requires lucky opponent mistakes and
situations still. Much more versatile is something with a bit
weaker torpedo power but with decent guns to at least make a
fair trade. And one such is the DD Aki, it has 4+4 torps that
can do a BB kill plus it can survive gun duels. So, it looks
like most optimal ship from my choices.
I also has a smoke cruiser Rochester, no torpedos, no hydro,
only smoke. In my opinion it has too weak power. Even if it farm
in smoke 1 minute then that does not produce much benefit and
the team won't win. And of course in Bronze the DDs are going to
instadie quickly, so cruisers become blind and such smoke
cruiser just dies blindly then.
So, such analises.

On Ranledz Season 22 the most efficent T8 Aki player:

He placed as Top 1 in that ship.
You can see his other ship choices. You notice he did a mistake
in choosing T9 DD Black for 3 battles. Choosing such ship is a
mistake of course, because it does not have enough strong
features compared to other game features.
You can get some hints which ships are efficent if you look his
chosen 6 ships for the Season. But such hints may not help much
if you feel not comfortable with those ship choice examples. For
example, i can't play T10 DD Gdansk which he did confidently.
But his choices om Aki and Kita i can follow of corse.
This is an example how to get hints which ships to choose.

Also if you look the Aki player Rankedz history then few seasons
ago he managed to get Rank 1 during first sprint. This is a very
rare and difficult to achieve achievement. In Wows community
language it means winning 70-80% of battles. Even our in dept
nazi clan Yoboy has not achieved it because he can't do 70%
winning rate at all. In my language it is a Diamond level player
if manages R1 during Sprknt 1. No need to find any naive denial
thoughts about Rankedz, go try Sprint 1 yourself once in a life
time. There is no naive carry talks or other delusional believes
in achieving getting to gold league in Sprint 1, and if to
complete it as well then that is a hard carry of 20 battles in a
row against top dogs. So, seeing such Sp1 R1 suggests me the
player is really strong. But there is no need to get delusional
fear when facing such players, you occasionally obviously
outplay them.
The Sp1 R1 is a tough challenge for me, i have done Sp1 R3 at
max as i remember. For me it reqjires a really lucky mood. But
it doesn't occure usually. But i feel it is doable. So, as sn
ultimate challenge, go try it. Or did you install the game to
kill creditcardless children and brag about it?

The difficulty in Sp1 R1 is that humans cannot focus many hours.
I suggested even to my previous clan that if they want to
progress in rating then don't play over 2 hours per evening.
