Skillbased MM illusion

In this topic and elsewhere is a popular suggestion about
Skillbased MM.
I can share my opposite opinion on that topic.
1. Skills concept is fundamentally a messy concept and therefore
all opinions on it are also misleading. You can't define a skill
level based on a number, for example Teams WR which i have
called as a Soup rating doesn't belong to a player but to a soup
of random teams with various vehicles and tiers and other soup
elements. Soup rating doesn't belong to any person, it is
illusional to belive that one has a rating in a team game. A
certificate of a test/exam shows skills, like completing Rankeds
Sprint 2 Rank 1, or doing a car driving licence test
successfully, but even that doesn't guarantee to behave
skillfully later.
So, the concept of Skills is a very messy concept, it is an
imagination hiw someone probably will perform.
In computer world it is difficult to find a number that is close
to the skills idea.
The closest is Rankeds, there Gold members generally have higher
skills than in Bronze.
2. Even if it would be possible to measure skills and put
similar skill players together, something like in Gold league,
then that would not make those Skillbased MM udea supporters
more happy, they would lose more.
So, i have never supported any such Skillbased Mm idea.

There is a wishful belief that SoupWR=Skills, and a naive
expectation that humans behave based on their skills.
Soup and skills have nothing in common, or if you like then
phrase as Almost nothing. The cult cannot comprehend that.
Driving licence owners behave most times Skillfully based on
their certificate, but in entertainment if there even were any
certificate then the likelyhood to behave on your maximum skills
is much lower. Why should any non religous entertainer try his
best in entertainment? He should entertain, have a wine
meanwhile, no matter if he has Sprint 2 Gold Rank 1 certificate
with tech tree ships or not. On the streets you can't have wine,
in entertsinment you can say you should have wine.
Soup rating is not a skill certificate but Rank 1 is. But in
entertainment, which has randomness and luck element, wine and
mentally healthy mind, you should not expect the certificate
owner to perform on the cert level, you should not expect
anything but entertainment.
Everybody win roughly 50% of times, MM is alwayes fair, the game
has no issues, only delusional cult has issues.
Soup based MM is delusional, Rankeds is an ideal skill based
league system.

Rankeds is a skillbased MM, but Randoms is not skillbased MM
because i nRandoms are no ratings and no ranks.
