guide: torping (primitive) hydro ships

If you torp hydro BBs then first salvo of torps should go
precicely as you plan the whole salvo to hit the hydro target
but the 2nd and next salvos should go by assuming that the hydro
ships sees the first salvo and starts to slow down or turn so
the 2nd salvo should aim either little bit left or right. I
don't have currently a good screenshot for that. That general
rule applies when torping to other non-hydro primitive ships as
well because they all change the course little bit after seeing
the first salvo.

In more general topic how to torp the main suggestion for
Rankeds is to predict where is efficient to turn for the target.
Obviously if the BB is heading more far from caps which is not
wise then you just wait until he starts to turn back towards the
reasonable caps area, after patiently waiting that up you
finally torp.
Also if a rock or map corner prevents to turn much then you can
torp, just wait until he arrives closer to the rock.
It is obvious to see that some BBs do the left-right snake
pattern then you torp just before they start to turn left in
their pattern, etc.
You look where are your alleys locations towards which the
target should turn the nose, and again torp by that prediction.
If the target does too unpredictable moves, then use wide spread
torps obviously.
You can finally set smoke and wait the target swim close to you,
then you speed up and torp from close range.
If a Rankeds battle ends with 1 Dd against a hydro cruiser, like
Shima vs Zao, then such cruiser outplays the DD most times. The
best is to find then a possibility for Kamikaze topping.
You can't count so easily when hydro goes off, but if you can
then that time window is also a good time to torp.
Topping hydro ships requires lot of intuition, difficult is that
cruisers have radio as well.
Some BBs try to change ships speed but then your torps must just
cover wider area, sometimes even taking into an account that the
target may start to move backwards.
Topping must be done very close to the target. For example if
Shima has 5.6km concealment then torping from 6.1km is fine. It
is okay to make spotting mistakes and become spotted at 5.5km
range, this is how you practise.
If you aim all narrow spread salvos to 1cpoint covering a narrow
area then that can produce overkill, specially to low HP
targets. But it can prevent the target to turn its nose towards
the torps and swimming untouched through because such torp wall
surely hits at least with 3 torps the target nose.
Wide spread is more wise against very moving targets, against
stronger Gold members. You just look at the remaining battle
time left and if enough time left then use wide torps that hit 1
torp for sure each time, and eventually the target sinks. If not
much time left then of course risk with narrow spreads, or
narrow+wide+wide.
If the target is swimming away and is at 12 o'clock then you
must surely get as close as possible, otherwise the 12lm torps
won't ever reach. But such torps are anyway the worst option.
