Maybe we should title the achievements as Streak.

I am not sure how to make topic folders.
Maybe like this:

I am not sure.
Maybe all categories as a topic in 1 big folder. And later
reorganize the folder by adding sub folders if needed.

A contestant can post to the appropriate category topic or to a
general chat topic his Stats page link and maybe also a
screenshot and say shortly which catehory and ship and how many
battles. Then a Verifier verifies and modifies the 1st post of
the category topic to place his results to the Top listing.
Top listing looks like this:
1. Player Abc, WR=100%, PR=2500, Dmg=1800.
2. Player Cde, WR=100%, PR=2400, Dmg=1700.
If you post a ship results that doesn't have yet a topic, then
such topic gets created.
You can play every day for example 20 battles with such ships:
Halland 3 battles,
Shima 3 battles,
La Pamba 14 battles.
And such every day strategy gives you every day a possibility to
get a winning streak for Halland and Shima and post it to the
leaderboard, and with La Pamba you don't have any competition
goals.
Everybody has at least few ships, so you don't need to be
frustrated that you must stop playing with a ship after 3
battles, you just play with other ships.
The word Streak tends to be interpreted like Luck, but it is not
because you provide also PR and Top listing shows thus good
impact to the battle as well. Luck is always everywhere,
starting from MM and making fires and citadel hits, all is
partially luck always. So it is wrong to interpret that such 3
battles winning streaks are pure luck. No they are not, they are
more like demostrations of your skills.
I think we can also give prizes later.
So, i suggest let's start. Would be good to have plenty of
ships, but fun is already to try with your few favourite ships.
Some may think that what's the point of such leaderboard if
Stats pages already have overall leaderboards probably and just
look Stats data. But those Stats pages don't show 3 battles
data, and they don't want any fun competitions and prizes.
Therefore why not to try such thing.
I think some categories would be very interesting missons. Like:
Bronze R1 Season 20.
The forum doesn't allow to upload pictures, but you can probably
upload to Imgur website and link it here, but should be enough
if you just give a playername and say you did Halland challenge.
I am not sure if we should make different categories for EU and
NA servers. Maybe later yes, but not in the beginning.
So, the idea is quite mature, let's make folders/topics and i

The rrason why i don't do such Stats oriented leaderboard
database in this forum here is that this forum doesn't believe
in any Stats. But in that forum there everything is fine, all
believes are fine, all Stats shaming is fine there, all that
Wows community does and is.
Obviously it takes time to advertize the new forum and get
contestants in, that's fine, fun for me.
What is good for you? You get fun, community gets more forums,
you get probably money later or gaming goods, and you believe in
Stats and such leaderboard let's you do Stats oriented things
and stats shaming what you like.

Around January 10 should start the next Rankeds season with
Sprint 1.
I suggest to do again a contest with gold prizes.
Any ideas which rules to use?
We have done already by very strict rules the previous contest,
mainly requirering only tech tree ships. Maybe we can do next
with milder rules by allowing premiums as well.
I suggest we do it in the competitions oriented other forum.
One category could be based on the Stats page Rankeds ranks
numbers, that table there that shows rows like "Sprint 2, 300
battles, final rank 5, best rank 3, WR=60%". Those rows start to
appear during Sprint 2 as i remember, 4 rows. So, we can make a
leaderboard based on those rows, maybe sort the leaderboard by
the total sum of column "best rank achieved". For example, if
one gets on Sprint 1 Gr10 rank as his highest result, and on
next 3 sprints GR2, then his total sum of best ranks are
10+2+2+2=16. Those who get GR1 on all 4 sprints get total of 4,
and the Top 1 is the 4 points result, Top 2 is the 16 points
player. Such leaderboard sorts smallest totals on top. That is
one category idea, and the easy part is that no screenshots
needed much, the Stats page shows itself clearly the data.
Another category could be to measure earliest dates when to get
GR1. That category is debatable of course because it favours
more those who have more time. But why not to favour enthusiasm,
it surely still require skills still. So, such 2nd category
idea, maybe even for SR1 as well.
Without screenshots it is not possible to see which performance
was made when a Silver R1 was achieved, or BR1. So, i am not
sure if to do such contest at all. I have by screenahots always
proved and monitored BR1 moment. So, i suggest to keep it.
Another idea is to have different ship types categories, like
one leaderboard for DD players, another for BB players. But
people often use many ship types. So that idea is not very
doable i think.
Also i feel i would lower the prize budget if we allow milder
rules and premiums, because very likely there will be more
contestants then and would be expensive to pay to them all.
Maybe small total prizepool of 10k gold only, and ca 4
categories each would divide the 2500 gold, Top 1 would probably
get only 1250 gold then. I think such 10k total budget. And on
next contests we can consider bigger budgets.
Note that gaming gold, and getting, should not be the main goal
in entertainments anyway. It is mainly an entertaining contest.
If you anyway play Rankeds then it is like a small extra
motivation.
Also many seems to say that they play Rankeds because Steel and
gold, in that case a contest few additional gold should serve
that goal.
Some have a goal to show they are better than me, sadly it
hasn't happened yet in any contest and debates, so now is the
chance. Surely some can do better than me, specially if premiums
and signals are allowed. So, go and demo that.
For me such event organizing is entertaining, and i have many
years doing in solo such contests for myself, for me it is a
skill measuring exam and motivates, often i lose motivated
focusing, so such contests are helping on that.
You can look how the previous our official contest was. It will
be similar, but lower prizes and milder rules and in the other
forum.
So, the idea has started, lets mature the idea during next 4
weeks, and start then.

Season 19 had 4 sprints in total and the current Season 20 with
5 sprints in total started the last sprint today, and it should
end in Today+13 days.
I suggest we do in the Competition forum a competition for at
least the Bronze league, and use the modest 10k Gold wallet for
the prizepool.
