Here we talk which contests we plan to do.
Some general rules.
1. contest does not prove any opinions. For example if the TOP 6
contestant says that 2+2 is 5 then contestand TOP 4 can't say
that TOP 6 is wrong because he has lower TOP result. The contest
result has nothing to do with opinions humans have in their
life. The contest does not measure knowledge very clearly but in
a way yes. For example Who completes the Bronze with 200 batles
usually don't have the small Knowledges and have slower fingers
than those who compelte between 30-60 battles. But al lbetween
30-60 battles have usually equal knowledge, jsut some have
perhaps quicker internet or thinner fingers etc, but they al
llist the same amount of theoretical knowledge. So, if one
really insist in measuring who is more smart, then there is no
such, but some are skillful, quicker fingers etc- go ahead and
enjoy that truth if you like.
2. you agree by saying " i agree" with the rules, including the
previous point about opinions.
3. all participiants will get a prize.
Example of the contest. Play games in Rankeds at day number 1
until you get Bronze Rank 1 aka Silver Rank 10. It takes between
15-50 battles usually. Provide screenshots that show the
quantity of battles done o nthe 1st day. The TOP is formed by
the quantity of battles. This is 1 example, we can do other
examples.
Register your self to the contest and forum. also isolated
players can talk about it here adequately.

In this topic we chat during the competition, and in the
competition main topic we post results and have a TOP listing.
I show you my budget and ship choice on the picture.
If i get more credits somehow then i will buy out a T8 Japanese
DD and use it.
I don't use any premiums on the picture because those are not
allowed.
I don't use any signals but you may use if you have because
those are allowed.
I have a 20 skills Japanese premium captain and a 21 skills UK
premium captain, plus few standard UK and Japanese 16-19 skills
captains and 500 gold. So i try to move them with the inbudget
500 gold if needed later to T10 ships, T6-T8 have already
captains in and ready.
Which ship choices you have and which ships will you use?

Playing a lower rank ship has an advantage to get more easily
the Save the Star possibility because lower tier ships get more
experience points than higher tier ships.
So, maybe it is wiser to use T6 ships and not T7. What do you
think? I don't even have any T7 ships in my choices but if you
have then think about which is more efficient for you, R6 or T7.
Also, if you have time then practice your T6 contest ships
already today in Randoms.
Can you predict how popular will be CVs in all 3 leagues? I
think that T6 Cvs are very harmless and weak, so they won't be
very popular, but maybe i am wrong, what do you predict?
I still don't know which premiums will be popular in Bronze,
what do you think?
Even if you don't plan to take part of the contest and follow
the rules, and play still with premiums, then you can still post
your results to this topic.
This is a general chat here, we talk everything related to that
Rankeds season.

It is an honor to compete on the 1st day because it has the most
highest skill level.
I have always seen much more skillful players on the 1st Bronze
day and you can't experience that feature on next days/weeks
anymore. I am lucky to have a day off tomorrow so i can enjoy
the most difficult play, the more difficult the more accurate
results you get to measure your skills.
Like always the Day number 2 is impossible for silver league
because not enough players. So we usually skip the 2nd day
totally, but the day 3 is again good because it is difficult.
And next days and weeks after that is easier again, but not so
enjoyable therefore.
A smart competitor who pay for TOP avoids those difficult days,
but on the 2nd hand he doesn't get invaluable experience and
accurate results.
Obviously in 6 players MMs you dont use any too specialized
ships like T8 Japanese DD Asashio which has only BB/CV torps and
the weakest guns in T8 because you jsut don't have enough
targets among 6 enemy players plus in Rankeds mostly guns
matter, not torpedo DDs. Unless you are a very advanced player
who enjoyes the most challenging ships. We should give a special
prizes to those who manage to complete leagues with the current
most inefficient ships. What do you think?

Wows commnuity seems to suggest to buy Anti Detonation flags.
They cost 2.4m credits to get 20 pieces.
You need ca 50 battles to complete the Bronze league, so you can
double the amount of credits to 5 million.
Do you agree with Wows commnutiy that it is wise to buy those
and get credits for those, or not?
If you don't buy those then it means you disagree with Wows
commnuity. It is totally fine to disagree with the debunked
commnuity, i never buy any signals at all, i sell imemdiately.
But what about you?

i plan to donate my victory gold to the player that uses must
difficult ships. Like german Elbing line ships or russian line
ships.
Do you agree that such donation is good?
In my opinion it is good because i don't anyway like premium
ships and i have enough ships already that i like.
The only ship i want to have more is the T11 Japanese DD
Yamagiri, but gold doesn't help to get it, only credits.
Do you agree if we give 1 random contestant also a prize, like
5k gold, and we use a random lottery system to find out who that
is?
If you disagree then tell why.

I started Bronze challenge right in the morning and made many
breaks between, so it ended up at ca 6pm resulting ca 8h playing
duration.
At first i tried to use the UK T6 DD Icarus but i lost most
battles and finished using it at the battle number 5. It just
felt that such ship is not efficient in Tier 6-7.
I moved to my last option which is T6 Japanese Hatsuharu which
is the Kitakaze line ship, and i have there 21 points premium
captain with radio, i somehow felt it is the right choice for
such Tier 6-7 MM. In such low tiers like 6-7 everything is very
slow, ships are slow and torps and guns are slow too, so it was
quite difficult if you mostly play in T0. I saw few radar ships,
many premiums, but i can't say which ship was really OP compared
to others. In my opinion premium German T6 T-61 was quite
overpowered, also premium T7 radar cruiser Atlanta and few
similar radar ships, and that's it, even those were quite equal
to standard ships, so i can't see much overpowered ships. The
1st day of Bronze have always quite strong players, so i enjoyed
obviously to see decent opponents.
Typically 3-3 splits, 3 to left and 3 to right, i saw few 2-4
splits, but never 1-5 or 0-6 splits. The maps were old known
maps, nothing new to old players.
Few totally wrong positioning, like going to a very long
timewasting road behind rocks, few total yolo suicides, but in
major part a very good quality and strong opponents, this is
always so on the 1st Rankeds day, good difficult battles, strong
Top playerbase.
Very few battles had Cvs and subs, as i predicted those are so
harmless, and specially harmless in T6.
I didn't do any so called trolling etc, i jsut got 1 phone call
during 1 battle which resulted to stop for 3 minutes and lose a
battle, all other battles were good, with good internet, also
the broken keyboard worked fine.
I would skip using the Icarus totally now afterwords, but it is
fine, you must test and tweak during first battles and decide
your tactics. For me the Japanese DD was the best choice, i
don't think UK Icarus is suitable for that T6-7 league, but at
T8 it probably will be.
I got credits and other stuff during the league compeltition and
can buy now a Japanese T8 DD, or use the T9 Kita.
I never went to easycaps, but i couldn't do any of my tactics
(CV MM escort DDs, pair DDs, no team splits, etc) because there
wasn't such possiblilities, i just stayed msotly i nthe subgroup
of 3 ships, mostly i spotted, set smokes, torped, i couldn't
almost ever use guns because those T6 Jap DD guns are so slow
and weak.
I think in T6-T7 battles just use a ship you feel comfortable
in, obviously an advanced ship type would be my suggestion, but
primitive types can do fine as well if you feel fine them them.
My results are fine, they are always like that around TeamsWR
60%, i rememeber only 1 time i did at 70%.
Obviously T8 Silver category will be more difficult because
there you have more OP ships.
5+33 battles is my typical result, i always get around 40.

Budget change during the Bronze challenge.
From 500 gold to the 1100 gold, that means i can move 2 times
captains now.
That is why it rewards to play Rankeds compared to Randoms, you
get Gold, Steel etc. Why to play Randoms at all?
and if there is even a contest like here for Rankeds where ca
50k gold is given out, then what's the point to play Randoms at
all?
Is there any tactics etc you use in Randoms at all? No, there
isn't. So, if you are not a total beginner and not grinding
ships, then why you play that Randoms at all?
Me and other debators i have seen here they totally ignore
Randoms, they play mostly Rankeds, and after 6pm few Clanss.

What do you think, should we make an additional prize pool for
TOP 3 who first complete the leagues as well?
Anyway i really suggest you take part from such competitions and
this one as well, in my opinion it is much more interesting than
to play Randoms chaotically.
I try tomorrow evening to start Silver challenge and plan to
finish during the weekend.

In T8-9 the difficulty is radar cruisers, they have concealment
and radar range almost equal, so one you spot them they turn
radar on and you get some damage in. Usually not much damage but
still you loose 30-50% of health which makes next DD duels
difficult with such low Hp. Also radar+smoke Dds like Black are
a big threat. Smaller threat are hydro Dds, mainly UK and German
ones. The smallest risk is to get outspotted by a Dd. I believe
I will try UK hydro Dd and a Japanese Dd. The tactics is to try
to manage the mentioned risks.
I don't ever go near easy caps so I often meet radars on
difficult caps. If most ships go to easy cap then I join them of
course, the group size of 3 is the minimum I stay with.
Mostly I spot the difficult area or the middle area.
Which tactics do you plan to do?
Also I suggest take part from our competition, it is much more
entertaining and you get a quite fair overview of your skills. I
am generally on gold level player, but I don't complete the gold
so easily. So if you want to grade my skills in 10 points range
then I have ca 8/10 skill level, while those who can't complete
Silver league are at around 6/10 skill level. It doesn't matter
which TeamsWR you have in Randoms etc, only a ranking exam type
competitions tell your skills.
In my opinion if you manage to complete the Bronze then that is
already a very strong skillet, in my opinion 70% ate not capable
to complete it ever.
