Popular Ad hominem phrase
By: Hanuman Date: April 3, 2023, 2:32 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Wows community uses often foreign words to make them appear
smarter. The same reason is to copypaste links and article
texts. All such methods are inadequate. Adequate is to show why
2+2 is 4 without using any noise related to person's skin color,
Stats etc, without anything inadequate.
Simple English has already a term Personal Attack and Wiki
defines it almost finely:
Noun
personal attack (plural personal attacks)
An abusive remark on or relating to somebody's person instead of
providing evidence when examining another person's claims or
comments.
HTML https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem
Any statement that addresses oter person's personal attributes
is Personal Attack aka Ad Hominem type of argument if there is
an argumentation going on. So, to use the Ad hominem phrase or
Personal Attack term there must be some kind of argumentation
going on, otherwise those terms can't be used. Teenagers usually
use such tactics. They compare each other's opinions and then
start to talk about each other's personal things. For example
they argue which schocolate is the best and then start to say
that the opponent is fat or his mother is fat etc. Such latter
personal attributes go under the term Personal Attack aka Ad
hominem type of argument, and go under the term InAdequate
method. Sometimes there is no topic about chocolate in people's
conciousness and they jsut blame each other, in that case it is
stil a Personal attack because the topic is hiddden in
Unconcious mind. They just hate each other for some reasons
which they are not aware of always and just automatically blow
s-h-i-t on each other.
Examples of a person's attributes: highschool grades, Wows
Stats, skin color, country, communities he belongs to, name,
breasts size, etc. Any mentioning of those and other person's
things can be called as Personal Attacks and Ad hominem
arguments if there exist any argumentation. If there is no
argumentation but someone just mentions those attributes then
there is no attack and the term Personal Attack cannot be used.
For example if in Wows community people have an argumentation
and one tells that you have bad Stats then that is definitely
Personal Attack and Ad Hominem type of argument. If someone says
that he likes your Stats then there is no argumentation going on
and such thing is not applicable to such term.
In debates, argumentations any addressing to person's attributes
are inadequate. Not only attacking but not also compliments etc
are allowed. al lthat is allwoed is clear noisefree
argumentation. Belief in authorities is also inadequate because
it adresses someone's education which is again irrelevant.
It is possible to categorize which ways people adress personal
things and wikipedia profides few types. To tell jsut that
someone uses Personal Attack aka Ad Hominem style is misleading
because there are many categories/types of personal adressing
and one should mention which part exactly was personal attack.
For example, if i try to prove my opinions by saying that the
opponent is wrong because he belongs to debunked Wows community
and is therefore wrong as a member then this is Ad hominem's
type that adresses the group one belongs. If Wows community
fails in a topic to prove his standpoints and then says that i
don't know what i am talking because my Stats are Bad, then this
type of Personal attack can be named other ways. wiki shows some
types and your common sense should help to create new ones. The
idea is that if you use the foreign word Hominem then specify
which kind of hominem occured and in which aspect.
I prefer the word Inadequate, i reject the word Ad hominem, use
betetr the Personal Statement term.
Any kind of "personification"* should be avoided in debates. No
links, no copuypasting, no Lols, no emoticons, no spam, no
personal attacks and other offtopics, no calling idiots, etc.
Only a professional clean argumentation.
If anyone wants to use such term in future debates then i
probably ask the opponent to define it. Secondly i provide
adequate rules which already include the rule that noise about
personal things is not allowed. If the topic itself is already
personal like "your stats are bad" then of course it is
difficult to stay away from inadequate things but still
possible. For example i have won all debates without any
mentioning of debator's Stats, skin color etc in argumentations.
Wows commnuity mentions Stats very often but also behaves
accordingly. For example, reporting CVs is a non-verbal act but
a Personal attack because it adresses other person's ship
preference/choise. Wows commnuity's Stats religion makes the
whole commnuity constantly being in the Personal Attack
mentality. Even if they silently watch the racist forum then
such silence means accepting racism and Racism is a type of
Personal Attack. "Wows community" = "Ad Hominem cult".

Let's check "personal" stats are also Ad Hominem type of
argument because the sayer believes TeamWR and CountryWR belongs
to a person.
Example:

My "stats" have always been around 40, this season it is 37, i
published them. Go provide yours and check. My Exam "stats" are
no way worse than CountryWR or TeamsWR because Exam means
battles just like your "stats" do. So, why to deny Exam result?
Provide your Exam result and check then. I won't check your
country and teams "stats" and won't compare them to Exam result.

Every TeamsWR mentioning as an argument is a personl atatck.
Example:

If the debunked commnuity wants LOL-style methods, then i say
LOL if they believe that on the picture 446 numbers belong to
any persons. Must be delusional if one really believes that 446
belongs to humans and are their Exam result. That is funny, LOl
Lol Lol. And end of debate with such Lol method. The result:
again wows commnuity lost. D oyou see that the debate continued
and perhaps with adequate methods? No, just Lol and that
silenced the dialogue. The debunked wows ocmmnutiy became
silent, i don't see any comments after i made Lol. See how easy
is to debunk the whole commnuity if you use their own inadequate
methods.

In this topic i introduce also other debating mistakes.
In the below example Wows commnutiy contradicts itself in the
very first second.
See yourself.
