Lemmingtrain illusion

Wows community believes that so called Lemming train is bad.
The community always, always and always splits team no matter if
the game mode, MM or other aspects. If someone dares to not
split the team then first reaction is to say that lemmingtrain
is bad, the 2nd is the crossfire argument.
Lemmingtrain is the best tactics in small MMs where you have 1-8
ships: Rankeds, Brawls, clan battles. If there is 9-20 ships
then it is wise to split to 2. If the MM has 21-50 ships like in
some special Zeppelin game modes then it is wise to split the
team to 3 chunks.
Generally: in Rankeds teams stay together and no splits, in
Randoms the team splits to 2.

Following reasons give birth to Lemming opinion:
1. Wows community does always team splits and lemming line looks
different than a team split.
2. Lemming belief has just grown so strong that it doesn't
require any reasoning, it is just popular all together type a
phrase "lemmingvtrain".

There is nothing unnatural in lemmings in nature, animals move
in lemming line all the time. Car roads too. In shop all wait in
a row. Etc.
What would be opposite to lemming line? The opposite is to move
all ships side by side, or in pairs like in kindergarden
children move in pairs in lemming line. How is such pairs moving
better or worse? Or move like a square 4x4 ships?
Because ships have different speed and log into a battle
different times then beside pairs or 4x4 pattern the swim mostly
1 behind another in a queu.
There is no impirtance in which pattern ships swim.
Lemming line is better than non-lemming line because team splits
are the worst strategy. You are 1 team, why to split into many
teams? How can a small splitted group survive against a bigger

I have participated even in a clan battle where enemies didn't
split and won.
