Popular is to repeat the debunked slogan that 17k health for
Shima is bad.
On this exampel the primitive ship player placed the last in MM
and both Shimas with their best 17k captai nsetup survived the
battle and didn't have any need for more health.

20km torps enable immediately in the beginning of battle to send
out 20km torps while short range DDs can't. Such torps hit very
often enemy BBs on 16km range etc, over 50% of times. Such
advantage gives your team a start point where enemy team has
taken 2 torps already in while your ships haven't and while
enemy DDs haven't used torps at all because short range.
That argument should illustrate well why 20km torps are the best
choice.

Debunked commnuity likes one more term: suiciding.
That term is faulty. Because dying is not suiciding. Suicide
means that one don't shoot any bulelts and jsut swims in front
of enemies and stops moving for example and enemies kill him.
Important is that suicider don't try anything else than just
trying to die quickly. A yolo player is not a suicider because
they yolo in and shoot few bulelts. I have almsot never seen
suiciders.
But the commnuity likes such faulty term.

It is popular to believe that DDs that have high oncealment by
default are somehow good.
Like Marc, Khaba etc.

Popular mentalities: "fullHP=useless", "behindTheRock=useless".
Even if one playes a hybrid BB then both those mentalities are
said against him.
But also if one playes DDs and moves a lot.
The cult jsut expects everyone to go brawl with main guns
imemdiately and lose the HP, there is no other way for them, and
because most are BB players then they widen such expectation to
all ships.
