Euro Destroyers Event

Okay so I finished the first Tier of quests and got 4 Euro
Crates. When I opened them I got 130 coins; 40, 40, 30, 20. I
looked at the resource event to see what I ship I could buy if
any. The answer was none. The lowest Tier V Visby costs 200.
My first thought was why I only got 130. When I was opening the
chests I just saw the first one which said 40 coins and the
other three I was just looking to see what else came with it,
camos and flags. It was when I looked at my notifications that
I saw the coin numbers go down. When I looked at the event
again I saw that 1000 doubloon buy in thing, figuring that's
where the rest of the coins would come in. My first bundle was
for 40 coins , I didn't buy it, plus whatever else, well that
sucked. But when I looked closely at the other bundles the coin
amount varied from 20 to 40 coins per bundle, WTF?!
This is what each ship costs;
Tier V Visby 200
Tier VI Vasteras 400
Tier VII Skane 600
Tier VIII Oland 800
Tier IX Ostergotland 1000
So I started to do some math, there are 4 quest tiers which when
completed gives increasing amounts of chests when completed, 4,
5, 6, and 7 at the 4th tier. That's 22 chests in total.
If you got lucky and got 40 coins for each chest that would
equal 880 coins.
You could buy the Oland or;
You could buy the Visby and the Vasteras or;
You could buy the Visby and the Skane
To get the Ostergotland you need 120 more coins from the bundles
which, if you were lucky and get at least 3 with 40 coins each,
would cost you 3000 doubloons or $12 if you didn't already have
it.
Now this is at MAX 40 COINS per chest and container.
Doing some stupid math I think most people will get an average
of 650 to 700 coins, meaning that at the very least they could
get the Tier VII if all tiers are completed.

I've only made it all the way through once. I usually use the
current coin on doubloons, camo or signals.
