Jean Bart vs Georgia

So I have a choice coming real soon between Jean Bart and
Georgia which is the better choice to spend coal on first?

Although I'm a die hard USN fan, I understand that Georgia is
probably not up to everyone's standards. Georgia is good because
she has 18 inch guns, they reload fast, but her small number of
guns (2 guns x 3 turrets layout) means it really does hurt when
you miss. If you are familiar with Massachusetts, play Georgia
like an up-tiered and up-gunned Massachusetts. Her secondaries
are even better if you like a secondary built BB. Not to mention
that Georgia borrows Massachusetts fast acting Repair Party and
secondary batteries. She's the only US BB to get Engine Boost,
which can either get you in trouble or out of it. Georgia can
tank some ships, just not the Yamato. Until the tier 10 USS Ohio
battleship comes out, Georgia is the only way for us USN players
to fight back with our own 18 inch guns.
Basically, if you enjoy Massachusetts, like Engine Boost, and
want 18 inch US guns, Georgia is the ship for you. The coupon
should help reduce that 228,000 coal price tag.

Finally got enough coal today and decided on the Georgia. I went
secondary build. First game out it was just a dominating
monster.

I have a ways to go to get enough coal to afford a ship at that
level, but I have been eyeing up the Georgia. I have yet to ask
how anyone likes it. So was it worth it?

Yup the Georgia is definitely worth it. I put on the speed boost
extender module (gives it like 5 minutes of speed boost) and put
a secondary build on mine. It's a beast. It's always funny
watching a dd try to catch up to it with boost going. Just turn
slightly and let the secondaries rip em up.
