Fury and the Easy 8...talk me off the ledge
DIR By: Turkey Son

---------------------------------------------------------
I am sick person, I love to buy premium tanks. They make lots
of money, you do not have to grind on them. You get to put your
killer crews in them and kick people's ass.
That said, I have bought too many of them and some of them
stink, I have even sold some.
So here comes the Easy 8. I like playing medium tanks, but
mediums with a punch. I hated the Cromwell, despite it s
strengths, because I am not a drive without stopping kind of
guy.
Moreover, other than fight club, kind of, I am not a fan of Brad
Pitt. I do not want to see his mug looking at me in my garage.
There is no reason for me to buy this tank, yet I feel I will
get sucked in. I feel the OPs that are promised, or the fact
that it will be there if I want it, on some odd night, will suck
me into buying it.
Please tell me why you plan to buy it or not buy it. Please
tell me why I should want an Easy 8 since I have never been in
one.
Cheers!

I'll be buying because I collect Shermans, with the Easy 8 being
the fav below the Jumbo. But I'd say from what you've put that
unless you're just a collector of prem tanks then don't. At
64mm hull/76mm turret on the front, I find it best plays more of
a sniper/scout with 76mm fast fire rate 18rd/m, good pen 128 for
115, ok aim time of 2.3 with some good accuracy with .4. But it
has some great acceleration and top speed making able to close
in quick and help or relocate. I have mine setup with enhanced
springs, spall liner and contolled impact for ramming and binos
and camo skill for scout/sniper. The other perks/skills I've
built up are basically abouting shooting and moving=mentor,
deadeye, smooth ride, snap shot, off road driving, sit
awareness(23%left to go)

Had this discussion with my brother today, who doesn't play WOT.
I was telling him about the movie and the tie-in with the game.
He asked how much. When I told him $30 he said, "Get it!" He
doesn't play and he even thought it would be cool. I was on the
fence. I already have an Easy8. You only live once and who on
their deathbed is going to say, " I wish I hadn't bought so many
premium tanks,"? Yea, I am going to buy it.

If I had the cashola I'd get it. Not because of the movie tie it
but because I love Shermans. I don't have the Easy8 but have
been wanting to add it to my meager garage one I have a tier 8
added. Having a Premium Easy8 sounds even better. Will I buy it?
no, not unless I can save up enough bing points to cash it

Just watched the Fury trailer for the first time - does look

I like the Sherman's. I have hung on to the E8 and Jumbo. I also
has the tier 5 premium. The fury Sherman would be a good but if
I did not already have the E8 elited.

$30 bucks seems alittle steep to me. If was actually playing
right now I might think differently though. I guess if it comes
with a bunch of extras it may not be too bad.
