Delay in starting time???

Played several games off the Europe server yesterday where it
should have been impossible for the enemy to reach the positions
they were in. At Malinovka Encounter I started at A6 and before
I could get to the top of the hill enemy Heavy tanks were
already at A8 - that's less than 2 squares for me vs 5 for them!
Same at Redshire, although the distances were about the same, I
was in a fast Medium and their heavies had covered the same
distance. Anyone else experiencing this?

Did you remember to take your handbrake off Smoky?? :grin:
Seriously though I have at least one of these games each
session. You are held waiting at the load-up page and then start
10/15 seconds behind everyone else. Don't know why it happens
but have seen it affect others also.

Ayuh,
Dude, welcome to the latency issues of playing the Euro server!
Sometimes when you get into a match on the Euro server the "lag
issues" comes through with bright suspenders! :oversmoke:
You can launch into a match a full 30 to 45 seconds behind
everyone else!
I have platooned with folks from Euro and their speeds up/down,
tend to be much higher than folks in NA... Believe it or not:
it is the NA folks that cause the latency issues...
Euro and Asian up/down tend to be way faster than the average in
NA!!!
Thanks to the monopoly of the cable co's, we in NA are on the
short/bottom end compared to the Euro and Asian networks...

Not just the Euro...I started 34 seconds into a game on East the
other night.

Microsoft was having massive issues yesterday. There were
several games last night that we would get the game map screen,
and then everything would just go black for about 30 seconds.
Not to mention XBL party problems, not being able to send game
invites, and just flat out being disconnected from the servers.
