Hey Preach, it sucks that you and the others have been pushed to
this point. I know I don't know you but for the few times that
we platooned together and even the times you've killed me when
we were on opposite sides, but you can still platoon with the
folks you like and even remove yourself from the issues that
have arose of late. I wanted to leave after Cernig did, but I
saw that there may be an end to the poison that was spreading
through the clan and I was right, it ended very soon after, then
the issue with Tink came up and it went away too. I don't think
leaving the clan is the best way to handle this, but far be it
from me to tell you what to do. I'm sorry to see you go sir,
hope you'll reconsider though.

OFF or not, I will always be willing to platoon with you,

And that's the deal here, folks -- having OFF clanmates with
whom to platoon is great, but if you have fun with non- or
former OFFers, THAT IS TOTALLY OKAY!
Sure, we'd prefer if you primarily team up with clanmates, but
there is no rule that says you have to play with OFFers and only
OFFers. Nor should there be. And it's okay for you to have
others on your friends list from other clans (except XGN,
'cause, wow, most of 'em ain't very good :poke: :child: ).
So PLEASE don't feel as though that's the case, 'cause it isn't.
Platoon with those with whom you have the most fun, as that's
usually when we have the most success.
We'll worry about clan wars if/when they are ever announced, but
for now -- KILL THEM PESKY RED TANKS!!

I would also add the BFS clan to that list, well..... just
because they SUCK!!!!! :bash: We took two straight matches
against them with no loss of tanks in a 5 man platoon with one
game they only did 250 damage against us TOTAL in a Tier VII
match!!!!

Oxi, I looked up the BFS clan on the WoT website/forum and
googled and didn't see squat on them...if anyone else sees the
BFS logo before gamertags be prepared to have a great game!!!

Having had a little more time to absorb this, I'm mostly
disappointed in the folks that left. When I think about what a
clan is, loyalty is (must be) at the root of it. If a day comes
that I have an issue with the BoD or just one of them, my first
thought will not be that these people = the clan. My loyalty is
to the clan, as I hope it is or will be for all members. As an
adult, I can't imagine a disagreement being so strong that I
would walk away from the clan as a whole. Assuming the BoD is
comprised of reasonable adults also, it is very difficult to
imagine any issue that can arise in an Internet forum that would
test that loyalty.
It's my opinion that certain personalities, past and present,
inherently dramatize what are otherwise minor squabbles at best.
It's also my opinion that such personalities, when formed into
cliques, are poisonous to the ideal of any clan. I'm sorry, but
I don't care what anyone types in my direction on this or any
other forum - I just won't lose sleep over it. I can't fathom
the instability required for me to make drama out of anything on
the internet, for that matter.
If any of my friends in this clan felt wronged by the BoD, even
if I agreed it was a wrong, I would expect that friend to be an
adult and carry on with life as opposed to throwing a tantrum
and leaving the clan. I can promise my friends that they can
expect the same of me. I platooned with a few of the recent
leavers, and I'm shocked that they left under these
circumstances. While I know there are two sides to every story,
I can honestly say I can't think of a side to this story serious
enough to warrant them walking out on me. And they did walk out
on me, because I am this clan, as is every member - not just the
BoD. It changes my opinion of them, and that saddens me a
little, but like an adult I'll carry on tanking and as a member
of OFF. The clan is not the issue - premadonna personalities
are.
My two cents, feel free to take it or leave it.
