Hey fellow OFF'rs! Now I don't feel so depressed. My son
explained this to me. I thought I was rolling along when I saw
my Xbox Rep at 3.5 stars. I think I am now barely @ 2 stars. I
forgot who it was, but one of u told me to ignore this. All I
know is that I get very nasty :fullofshit: and :fuckyou:
messages at times after Random battles (reason I looked for a
Clan). I did note usually these messages came after I rammed or
got rammed by some tank and they blew up. Now I usually get
rammed by 2-3 tanks who gang up on me. Best one I saw so far is
when I got rammed, I shot Red dead, then 3 other tanks all came
over to ram me (almost killed another Red) --- then I got all
these nasty messages and this was a Tier II battle.

This changes in the upper tiers (some?) - you get fewer of
those. I've taken quite a few "thanks (expletive!)" in my inbox
when I either nuked someone from a distance (I play TD a good
deal, and don't treat it as a heavy) or a fellow green member
chooses to dash ahead of me and get killed. (then it's "thanks
for the help (expletive)!")
You get beyond Tier IV and it becomes less that way (not that it
doesn't happen)

I have been getting a bad rep for awhile sometimes they mean
totally different than what they really are. It was posted
somewhere on the xbox forums a few years back. it mainly has to
do with kids being butt hurt or people with crackerjack
connections, but sometimes it does deal with connectivity issues
from the game servers.

Yep right there with you. Seems the better you get the messages
start rolling in. I think I gotten a handful of those nasty
grams, albeit a few atta boys too. If someone has a good game I
send them a message saying good kills or nice damage or awesome
game too. I know some do that on here at least helps the Clans
reputation and that's all I care about.

I too have some bad ratings but it was mostly in the lower
Tiers, for me its a sign that I must have done something right
to piss them off. I know in one game, a Standard Battle on
Malinovka, I went to a cover spot by one of the rocks when a
Troll decided he wanted that spot and proceeded to push me out
into the open and I started taking shots, I got my butt in gear
and got back behind cover and took a quick shot over the top of
the Troll as I did to let him know how :pissed: off I was, he
proceeded to say over chat he was going to negatively rate me,
so I did the same to him. :tongue:

Plus when it comes to your rep meaning to much, think of it this
way....When was the last time you avoided/reported(negative
feedback) a player and when was the last time you
preferred(positive feedback) them?
