I made a comment about how sweet it was for him and his
girlfriend to be platooning together. Oh that was a good one.
[/quote]
That is a good one, I'll have to remember that one. I like to
poke at them from time to time as well. I got one guy to
apologize on Proc. He was ranting about people letting him die,
so I replied back, "Dude, I'm sorry we weren't all there to take
the shots for you as we were taking shots of our own and I'm
sorry you didn't get to rush in and steal all of our kills and
look like your top dog, when in fact you in your cruiser just
weren't. Your being a douche, just own up to the fact that you
got owned by another player and fuck off". Silence was all I
heard, then, out of nowhere I hear, "you're right man, I just
get tired of dieing game after game, my bad". To which I
replied, "get better or find better people to platoon with. It's
all good, I feel your pain and I laugh at myself for doing the
dumb shit that got me killed, like you running after that
Leopard and getting caught in the oldest trap and took out by
three KV-2s". The guy laughed and made me think, maybe, just
maybe I might have fixed a Rommel, but I doubt it.

Start your own party of one then you won't hear them. Also
makes it easy for OFFers to join you if you want company.
Anytime you see me in my own party, please join.

Yup.

I mute players. I like the fact they stay muted so I know when
I'm playing them again. Sometimes I speak to try to help a
team. Eg "hey guys do you think anyone could cover our left
flank? it's wide open we'll lose our arties and all die
otherwise..." type things. Not sure if this makes me an
armchair general. i  might just need to mute myself!

Not at all. I do this often. and if nobody gives a shit then I
mute my mic and go kill reds.
Had a one of these this week. Erlenberg Assault we were on the
defense. I spawned on the cap side and took a hull down in my
T29 overlooking the bridge (B3) and waited. :snipe: Everyone
that spawned on the other side decided to charge and take the
hill minus a KV-4. While the greenies were getting slaughtered
the KV4 is going off on the scout for not rushing to his doom
with the rest of them. I pointed out that attacking on a defense
in was going to lose us the match. Next thing I know I'm getting
called out on my stats. End of story Greenies get wiped out. I
get 2000+ in spotting and damage and 2 kills, The KV-4 just
happens to be an Senior OFFer who I respect and he was at the
bottom of the board.
I sent him a message on our stats on that game and asked what
was up. I got an apology and congrates in return. Match making
and team green have been giving him a really tough night. I made
sure he knew we were cool and I understood. Shit happens.
:peace:

Fishermans Village:
Trolling a troll.
I had a Rommel the other night who, even though he was driving a
KV2 decided to tell me to not only vacate the bush I was
occupying in my Dicker Max because he wanted to 'snipe' (in a
KV2 with an apparently excellent camo rating :amazed:) but
actually started to push me out of the front of said bush
towards the enemy team!
Well I'm not one to fight a losing battle with this Russian
behemoth so I left the bush via the front (spotted 3 reds -
started to get spotting damage immediately lol) and drove around
in a big circle and parked behind him.
All of this time hes barking orders that involved light tanks
suicide running just so they could spot for him and telling 3
other TDs to 'STOP BEING PU#*IES!' and to 'GET IN THE F#*CKING
FIGHT!' (Priceless)
He obviously had absolutely no idea I was there and as soon as
his 152 opened up he became visible from outer space and every
enemy tank in range shot at him
Obviously hes now trying to reverse because that 'excellent camo
rating' has failed him for some reason and the shells are
raining on on him in waves lol. Of course he cant because Im sat
there.
Hes now screaming at me to move. Hes calling me pretty much
every Saxon-Celtic swear word he knows but I just thanked him
for the cover and start humming the trololol song using this now
flame ridden KV2 hull as the best bush ever.
I got 4 kills, a stack of medals and silver and a terribly rude
message.
There was a small amount of time that I felt dirty as this is
not my normal mode of play. I do like to play as fair as I can
and if I'm in a medium tank I will very often vacate a hidey
hole for a TD because that's the way the game should be played
but sometimes a person just deserves no mercy.

Thank You Sosa---
Not only for the good story, but reviving a hearty thread
about three weeks ago a regular forum guy called "playertd"
ranted and raved at a couple E 75s I was alongside of.
we duked it out with some serious crap on river-flank on Mali
... apparently he and the rest of the team fell to pieces on the
hill and it was these two E 75s and me
( though I was below mentioning in my puny Tiger II ) who were
at fault for the whole disaster. Not cool...the guy's a
douche.

yeah I like the forever-mute too
but - no way, man ! a gentle nudge or two is certainly good
for all....when the game is already lost and you harang decent
players from your grave...that's just messed up.
