Your undying love for the T-32 has made me question your sanity
and our anti-arty alliance.
Plus, after repeatedly getting killed by them, I decided to join
the if-you-can't-beat-them-join-them-club. :ammo:

I have one, but haven't taken in out of the garage in at least
1500 games, so I voted "no". I respect arty players, and
appreciate the role they play on the battlefield.

i play quite a lot of arty.
i normally try to help my team mates push up to enemy base
rather than just go for kills or sometimes help the weaker side
defend a flank.

I play artillery quite a bit. I love the M44. People rant about
artillery, but some of their behavior is unbelievably stupid.
Countless times I've seen tanks remain still after scoring a
direct hit on them.

I think a lot of people don't pay enough attention to whats
happening. There are lots of times ill pick someone apart and
they just ignore where the damage is coming from. :1foryou:

They have their job to do, and I have mine. If I'm smiling when
I get a pascucci's medal... well its more like I'm happy that I
was able to avoid their meds/heavies/TDs to get into the back
lines. Every time an arty hits and kills me while I'm at full
speed, they get a "nice shot" message from me. While I've
probably killed more artys than most, I don't have the hatred
for arty that some people do, probably because I've never really
spent any time driving heavies or TDs.

I am making an effort to figure out how ARTY works, especially
when in a place like Himmelsdorf and "shot obstructed". But by
golly, others somehow got ARTY to work and blow tanks up.
Parked myself by a few to simply observe so maybe I could figure
out how it is done.

Playing arty on Himmelsdorf is a nightmare. Hate. It. You either
have to:
- Park on the center, north-south road, moving after each shot
or parking there and hoping no one spots you
- Go to the castle and try to support the attack with the hopes
of being able to park up there when the reds are dead
- Go to the corner of the train tracks (northeast or southeast)
and do what you can on that side of the map (works well for
encounter)
- Park at a high-traffic corner and try to shotgun folks as they
come by
I've done them all and, oddly, had my best Himmelsdorf arty game
doing the last one.
Of course, I also got killed by an arty there whilst I was in my
AT-2. Sad part was that I only had to kill that arty for a
Pool's medal. The Radley is nice, but ... man I was sooooo
close!!

why is it, when I play ARTY I am never the bottom-tiered member?
Especially since I am only a neophyte (even lower than a noob)
on any of my ARTY'S?
