Arty is a nice change of pace. I'm not the best but I am working
on it. I have 3 in my garage the M37, M41 and Sturmpanzer II.
Some days I'm dead :1foryou: on others not so much. :ammo:
I have to say running an arty has saved my tank a time or two,
knowing the reload time, the distances, the obstruction
locations etc. has been very helpful.

Arty is fun.....fire and move etc. I have been known to follow
the advance in mine....nothing funnier than shooting across the
map on prokhoroka to side shot them in the village thinking they
are behind cover....same for wide park.

You have to be damn quick to get many good shots there. Where do
you like to position yourself?

The only arty I hate is the red kind. :-)
Wish they would add Brit and French versions. Very accurate and
the French tier X has an auto loader that can dish 5k in damage
in about 30 seconds.

I've got a M41 that I play (badly) on occasion. It really helps
me understand how to be a better scout for them and how
important keeping on the move is.

Same here! I usually avoid playing arty when I platoon with
anyone really.
Not that anyone has asked me not to just a personal choice.

I have one American arty that I try to get my x2 on each night.
After light tanks, it's probably my least favorite of the four
tank types, but it's good for a change of pace.
If anyone is looking for tips or advice on how best to play
arty, I would recommend platooning with: Faethor, Husky Coach,
and/or Prophecy Pawn. They are all great arty drivers.
To anyone that is reluctant to play arty while in a platoon I
would say, don't be. It's actually a lot of fun to either scout
for an arty platoon-mate or be scouted for by a platoon-mate.
Jarhead and I played together on Mali last week with me in my
M-44 and him playing his Churchill. He went up the east side
and scouted while I tracked him. We both had great games and it
was a lot of fun.
