do you play Arty?

I do. Before you say it... Screw you too! LOL. I have a Tier 6
Hummel and a Tier 2 G.Pz. Mk VI I use while working with a buddy
who just started. I enjoy it. I am grinding my Tier 8 Hvy's and
Med's. So playing Arty can be a nice change.

I play it so it's an option if need be. I'm not great by any
means.

There is nothing wrong with playing arty, the feeling of one
shotting a tank on the other side of the map is great.Without
arty it's all to easy to roll up behind a bush or building and
play sniper,we have a roll to play and without them knowing make
better strategic players of the red team, making them think and
adapt.I have only my Grille and Gwpanther but thats only because
of the limits on there only being two arty lines to go up.As yet
I haven't found a decent teir 6 that I want to play (Iv'e owned
4 Hummels ) and I dont like the american line.I have gone up to
the GWtiger but as its the size of a barn and the reload time is
like a day,I sold it.

Indeed. I play my arty for a different pace of game. Despite
what the nay Sayers preach it does take a degree of skill to
play well and can turn the tide of a game.
The second the game starts it's the first thing I check. Does
the enemy have arty (that and if I've been bottom tiered AGAIN
:) ) it totally changes the way you play. Just a little bit of
fear making you play more tactically :) trying to draw out the
biggest threats for friendly arty to hit while not being tempted
into the open to take reckless shots.
I've one shotted and been one shotted. Alls fair in love and
arty ! :arty:

I have been known to play arty from time to time...i like
it...just not sure yet that arty likes me! I have the utmost
respect for anyone who can master the art of arty. It definitely
takes skill and a lot of patience...something that eludes me
still.

Seems to be what may be the one thing I'm good at this game.

Funny how some people bag arty and then express relief when the
see there's no arty in the game.

As most of you I like to play arty. I accept it as part of the
game and playing it certainly helps me avoid it when I don't.
Prophecy and I platoon up in arty parties now and then. We've
been known to devastate whole enemy teams between us. It's
always fun and a welcome change of pace.

I really enjoy it. Those one shoot kills are a great feeling.
