I cannot believe that all you haters are not listening to the
god of music Kanye West, and in so doing, are the killers or
true artistry and creativity
Shame on you All!
To quote god, after being questioned as to why he did not spout
more knowledge from the stage of the Grammys but just ran up
like the Mars of Music and then run off again, "I have to
protect my child, my wife, my clothing line...."

Oh btw....I love many of the bands all you old farts like as
well. As a kid I loved Steely Dan, the Eagles, and yes, many
Disco bands....and yes...I heart the Bee Gees and still do.
When the 80s hit, I loved all things New Wave or Modern, or
whatever it was called. I drowned my egg shell mind on MTV, and
now look at me!
But when push comes to shove, I do not get the Harley revved up,
because my favorite all-time band is The Smiths. Too this day I
just love that band, particulaly all the stuff before and up to
The Queen is Dead album.

TKE, I too enjoy the Thievery Corporation... They got some a
good stuff!

Their new one is just awesome. Love how they create an entire
feel and atmosphere for their albums. (Lebanese Blonde is one of
my fave songs ever.)
And the song The Forgotten People is IDEAL for Sand River.
Seriously -- check it out and imagine playing it while cruising
in a medium or light. It's. Perfect.

I have checked out the The Forgotten People, and a Sand River
yes
This is my favorite light weight song:

One thing I find hard to believe is that Johnny Marr was only 23
years old when the Smiths broke up. To have that kind of talent
in what must have been his mid teens is remarkable. Marr is in
my opinion one of the most underrated guitarists of all time.
Great choice of song as well.

Oh, man absolutely love the Smiths....I went away from them for
a while but have been starting to get back onto them, the Jam
and the Replacements.... Morrisey and Marr were great
together....Morrisey was even good on his first couple of solo
albums, until he just became an even bigger self-loving
twat.....

I was alittle late to the scene and will admit I never listened
to The Smiths, but I did listen to the crap out of the Stone
Roses.

Remy great song. True story... I went down to the local record
shop, bought the Stone Roses CD, and 2 concert tickets to see
the Happy Mondays and went home and asked a girl to the concert
with me as our first date. We now have been married 21 years and
have two kids. Every time I hear the Stone Roses it reminds me
of my wife.

I thought he had a shyness that was criminally vulgar ...

Rammstein, Motörhead, Silversun Pickups, Trespassers William,
22-20s, Lana DelRey, Iron Maiden, Band of Horses, eclectic mix
of stuff I guess, come to think of it.
