First time I saw Tool in concert was 1997 on the Aenima tour at
a place called the Cotillion Ballroom. Maximum capacity of this
place is like 2,000 people, so it was a really small show. It
was basically just a mosh pit with a few tables and chairs off
of the dance floor. So much fun banging around in there. Another
cool part about that show was the fact that you could walk
around and behind the stage. I went and checked it out and got
to shake hands with The Melvins, who opened and were just
chilling off to the side watching Tool perform. Also watched the
dudes on the sound and light boards. Helluva show. Maynard
performed in nothing but a pair of sweat pants, so got a good
look at his crazy back tattoo. I remember Adam Jones was painted
       purple for some reason..?

       Thats a really cool story.
The closest I came to a band was back when I was in University
we hired these guys to play in our basement. We had at least 300
people in the basement of the house at one time and many many
       kegs of beer were consumed.

A few examples of what I love:
       The Cure
       Peter Murphy/Bauhaus
       The Eagles
Scores from films...some faves...Dances with Wolves/A River Runs
       Through It/John Williams...
       Super good soundtracks...Point Break/Sons of Anarchy/The
       Sopranos
Some Hip Hop and Rap...not much though.
I do still love Techno and liking some of the newer DJ stuff
       like Krewella and DeadMaus
       Love the oldies but goodies...Gordon Lightfoot/Bob Dylan/Neil
       Young
However...the Mac is king! Don't stop...thinking that your right
or You can go your own way.

Faethor, I also loved Bauhaus and Peter Murphy. He has a
fantastic voice. I really liked some of his solo stuff. Cuts You
Up and Indigo Eyes. Of course Bela Lugosi's Dead is one of the
greatest songs of the 80s. Have you seen the movie called the
Hunger with David Bowie? Bauhaus performs that song in a cage in
       movie. It's pretty cool.

Pearl Jam will always be my all time favorite. Went through a
big Cure and Smiths phase. Still enjoy Rush and Van Halen(with
Diamond Dave at the helm of course). So many others such as Nine
Inch Nails, Chevelle, Alice in Chains, pretty much anything from
the grunge era, Beastie Boys, Prince and Beatles. :shades:
