It is often said, “it takes one bad apple.”
Well this is true, but I am writing this post not as an analysis
of any supposed such bad apple, but an analysis of all the rest
of the apples (the ridiculously overwhelming majority).
I want to make a suggestion to all of us who love to come here
and discuss World of Tanks and to play World of Tanks. I write
this message to myself and plan to read it immediately after
(might even "Direct Hit" myself because that is how I roll).
1)
because of contact with the rotten one. If there is content
that is just plain silly, do not respond to it in any way, even
if it is directed at you. Just ignore it, in fact, the best way
to ignore is to post something directly after it that gets
things right back on topic. If the OP was a negative
topic…ignore it altogether. Finally create good and fruitful
topics to bury the Bullshit under a heap of sweet apple pie.
2)
believe the adage about smoke and fire, just realize that the
stench is from some guy's mouth. Again, ignore it or spray some
Febreeze by adding good content and topics.
3)
that because there is some loud banging going on, that this is
what OFF is, do not be fooled. Even a Mustang sounds like shit
if you are riding it while under the hood. Come sit in our
wonderful bucket seats, and turn up our Bose surround sound, the
clanging you here is actually just a Yugo driver who is pissed
off.
I also invite any of us, who upon reflection, see ourselves as
having been a bit of a bad apple, to baptize ourselves in the
cleaning waters of a new start. Fresh fruit can always be made.
Silly adolescent things can always just be dropped. Victory
can always be letting go, and moving forward.
As TKE knows well, it is preseason, and in preseason you know
your team is going to the Super Bowl even when there is not a
chance in hell they are making the playoffs.
Let us begin a anew, and focus on the good part! Lets all get
on the Jerry Jones Love Bus and drive all over Hollywood with
NFL execs….Lets live it up…this game is about the fun side of
life.

ewww you suggested doing something with Jerry Jones....haha.
Your message is loud and clear and also right on point, the
chiefs suck, but I don't think you needed to call TKE out like
that... again, kidding. I agree with you 100%, the tom foolery
and plain butt headedness looks bad to new folks and I know that
there is nothing we can do to stop it, we all can ignore it.

Dude. I'm a Chiefs fan. I gave up this year's playoff hopes the
day after they wasted their first round pick...in last year's
draft.

Hey, you have to stand by your team, otherwise your a fair
weather fan and no one likes that guy. I stood by the Seahawks
since I was old enough to watch football, so we'll call it 30+
years, I liked other teams as well in that time, but not if they
played my hawks. I bust on everyone that likes any other team,
that's the beautiful thing about football, every other teams
sucks accept mine or his or hers or yours. I know you're just
kidding about calling my boys cheaters...you're not that big of
an asshole :troll:

I got some ex girlfriends who will argue about that "not that
big of an asshole" part. :grin:
As someone who roots for teams with a combined 51 years of
post-season futility (and counting!), I see it this way:
1. The Royals will never win a World Series with their current
owner or baseball's economic structure.
2. The Chiefs won the Super Bowl the year before I was born, and
will win the next the year after I die.
3. Regardless, who the hell else am I going to root for?! Was
born here, raised here, will probably die here. So...oh well.

Like I said, I bust balls about football teams, mainly because
I've had my balls busted all my life about being a Seahawks
fan...lol. I don't give two shits who anyone likes, oh and I'm
also a Mariners fan and an Astros fan.

Oh damn Ox, I used to have respect for you...you mentioned the
two teams I hate more than any other team...LMAO I also pull for
the Yankees and Tom Brady is an asshole, sorry bro... but Boston
is a nice place to visit. :harm: All this ball bustin, and no
complaining... I like the sound of that.
