Does anybody know the difference in XP between death and
survival, all else being the same?

If I have a chance to win I will fight.
If not I will try to hide. It rarely works though.

If I recall correctly, you will get more crew XP if you survive.
Crew XP is allocated based on crew status, so it may make some
sense to revive a crew member right before the end of the match
so that you can get that extra crew skill allocation.
I am not sure if you get more XP, overall, if you survive vs. go
down in a blaze of glory.

I was last tank alive in my AT 15 one match against 5 red tanks.
I won the match. May never happen again, but wow! what a rush!

I was a blaze of glory kinda guy.
But now if I am the last guy a live...I will not go looking for
trouble, but not hiding.
Crews get less experience when they fail to survive
Higher tiers and some specific tanks the cost of repairs can be
significant...that is why some players drown their crews instead
of damaging the tank if a loss is inevitable

Stand alone against 5 enemy and win.
Did it on sand river assault...just held them at bay till time
ran out...I wasnt looking for a medal just trying to survive the
match
