I think it is safe to say that this thread has been derailed. I
also think it is time for people to move on. There are far too
many personal attacks and forum trolling going on in this thread
and others that are not at all constructive to OF&F or to
killing red tanks. This is not a drama class. I am asking
everyone, respectfully, to move along or vote on the karma
system, as this thread was intended.
For those who have not met me, I'm grrgs. I joined the staff the
same day as Cernig back during Beta. I help staff and the board
defuse situations, mediate disputes between members, help as an
advocate for members who want to raise an issue/complaint with
staff, and training for battle comms during the much anticipated
clan battles. I also serve as voice of reason, devil's advocate
and somewhat diplomatic sort for the board. Sometimes I even get
to kill red tanks.
After 3 weeks, at least 60 PMs/Emails, two large losses (Cernig
and Tinkabeast), and many, many hurt feelings and general
ill-will posted on the boards, I'm asking everyone to step back
and take a breath. It's time to start healing and start fixing
what's broken. Some steps have already been taken, with great
input across the clan on the Rights, Responsibilities, and
Rules. A clan member's suggestion has also been adopted by the
board for Due Process.
While this will not solve all of our problems immediately, and
staff continues to work on issues that members bring to our
attention, it is several steps in the right direction.
I now return you to your previous discussions about those red
tank bastards.

OMG!!! YES!!! Why is it I cannot hurt them, but my KV1 is always
getting trashed?!?!? LOL

While I don't take any notice of it, like many others, I think
the point XlevsiX made is a valid one and it causes
tension/consternation.
A 'like' only option would be ideal where you save time and
clutter responding to posts you like and or agree with.
This removes the negative side of an anonymous down vote as you
have to reply/respond directly removing the innuendo/speculation
of anonymity.

Alrighty Folks...Here We Go...
The poll has closed, and your votes show that you want to
basically keep some form of Karma system. However, we have also
listened to your comments on the direction and intent of this
system.
To that end, I am most pleased to announce the following:
After much digging around, (and some colourful words hurled at
my laptop), I have discovered that it is indeed possible to have
a Positive Rep only system put in place.
So....Effective Immediately our Karma Rep System is a Positive
