Ran 2 games with the newly nerfed vk36 and sold it...aaaaaargh.
Why oh why.....lol
What's next making the jumbo paper thin as well....lol

Just played 3 games in the VK 36 and I'm not selling it just
yet. Maybe it's my lack of finesse but I don't see a huge
difference from before the update. Pens well shooting premium
ammo. It may be a little softer but the hit points are up to
950 now.

Alleycat, the difference will become obvious when you and
another VK36 are your team's only tier VI heavies in a tier VI
game and the other side has two KV1S heavies instead. That
happened to me. We lost. Although I was still top damager on my
team (small comfort).

Update installing now and as an avid and VK36 lover I am so sad
to be reading all this. It's like the end of Cheers all over

First mission 4 kills. To tier. Lots of damage done. Feels
slower. But not bad.

As Cernig says though: wait until you're the only heavies
matched against a couple of KV1S's. You always needed a couple
of good heavies to go against them and you could support in the
VK.

I checked out the wotdb site. @ Tier V there is the VK 30.01
(H). This looks like the nerfed version of the VK 30.
@ Tier V, it looks like the VK 30.01 (P) is the speedy version
or what was the original VK 30. For the VK 36, there is a
Medium and a Heavy: VK 36.01 (H) and VK 36.02 (M). The VK
36.02 (M) seems to be the version that got the armor and guns of
the original VK 30; while the VK 36.01 (H) may be unchanged.
I defer to all the clan members for comments; these are just my
observations.
I'll have a better idea tonight or when I next have an
opportunity to run about with my VK 36 that I obtained just
before the 1.3 update. Since I had only 2 battles @50%; if I
get toasted from this point on then I know the VK 36 is nerfed.
However, as a collector, this really irks because I previously
had to grind to obtain two $$$$$$ (expensive) tanks; now there
are four $$$$$ tanks in this line.

A few questiona if I may, now the Angel of Death has passed o'er
the German garages we have a new toy, namely the VK30.02M. On my
VK30 I had every item possible (YEAH. he was a damn good tank
salesroom guy even though the mudflaps keep getting ripped
off!!) So If I had the L70 on my VK and also have it on the
preceding Panther why the hell do I have to buy it again....
Question 2. As I own the Panther and therfore obviously
researched it before I bought it from the VK30 why is the new M
not an Elite???

First (and only) battle tonight with the VK and I go up against
a couple of KV1S's and a Black Prince and an M6. Such crap. The
KV's are already over powered in their tiers I reckon and this
update gives them a Pen bump. WTH!
I bounced a couple of shots off a KV1S which wasn't even hull
down and then he just went to town on me with his new gun.
I know this is PC and not Xbox but this site looks at battle
stats and of course in the tier it shows the KV1S on top. THe OP
rating on the KV1S is 612 versus 520 for the VK36 heavy. Why
would you buff a top performing tank?
