It will be a crap heavy - matchmaking now with the KV-1S, M6 and
Churchill VII - unless it gets more armor.
Dammit, now I have to decide between the T-34-85, Jumbo and the
Cromwell as my replacement medium at Tier VI. One has the gun,
the second has the toughness, the other has the view range. None
is my VK36 medium.
The VK36 has been my favorite medium forever, I am now a sad
panda.

hey Cernig, have you thought of maybe the Jumbo Sherman... i
know the gun is a tad weak, but the armor is second to none.

Guess I'll find out after the update as I have both tanks in my
garage. I sure hope they don't nerf these as the VK 36 is one of
my favorites and I've been doing better with the VK 30 after
some tweaking. Although it would allow me to get my heavy
achievement sooner.

According to the WoT (Pc) website the 30.01 will get the Tier
VII
penetration is 157/221. That's like the Konish on the VK 36.01.
Nice!!!

I'm leveled all the way up the package tier with the 8.8 gun. I
run gun rammer, coated optics, and enhanced gun laying drive.
I played this tank for a long time with just the first tier
package and hated it. I couldn't damage much of anything. After
I decided to keep this tank I started upgrading the packages and
equipment and it has become more useable.
Originally I was just using this to get to my Panther but, it
was going to take a long time at the first tier level.
It could also be that as I get more experience with the tank I
am more efficient with it!

Thanks to JacqAl I was made aware of the VK30 issue. Repurchased
it so I can benefit from the changes. Ahhh, the advantages of
being in a fine Band of Brothers. Thank you JacqAl!
