It's often hard to get the full gist of things via written
communication, but in this case - good apology Acid.
We're sorry to loose Tink, but for whatever reason these things
will happen. How we react to them will determine who we are as a
clan.

Tink was never with them in the first place, he was with OFF
until this issue arose. He was on their forum only to keep in
touch, especially around super testing.he made it very clear to
IHM that he wasn't in their clan and only there for
communication

Wanted to wait to respond to this until I gave it more thought.
If this seems harsh, it's because I'm kinda getting sick of the
drama. I don't like drama. I'm more of a comedy/history guy.
More seriously: This is not a shot directly at you, Antacid, so

I am extremely disappointed that Tinkabeast was never directly
contacted. Like, damn near pissed about it.
A big reason for the drama we've had recently is because some
people, for whatever reason, can't seem to just go to someone
directly, like an adult, and simply talk like grown ass men and
women.

I mean, really. Enough with the acting like high schoolers
gossiping about who is going to the big dance on Friday. Pull up
the big boy and/or girl undies already. Sheesh.

I am incredibly disappointed that the Board was not given any
warning before Tink's account was closed, nor was anyone else.
This should never happen again.
Proposed Solution: No account may be deleted by any single
admin; others must be contacted and given a reason, clearly laid
out, with ALL sides having their say on what happened. Not sure
how many or exactly whom should be on the approval board, but I
think a mix of BoD, staff, and senior members would be good. But
this should be put up for discussion.

I am deeply, deeply saddened that we lost a damn good player and
a damn better human being. Tink was EXACTLY the type of player
we're looking for, and yet he's been driven away due to petty,
bullshit rumors.
Quite frankly, I find it patently absurd that the word of
another clan leader was taken over the word of the actual OFFer
involved. Not that we're all choir boys and girls or anything—I
know I'm not!—nor is this to insinuate that Fang or anyone in
IHM is a bad person. I've never played with Fang, but have with
other IHMs and have always had a good time. But...I
guarandamntee that other clans are well aware of the shit that's
been stirred around here. And I bet a few are more than willing
to help add to it.
How's about we not let them, mm'kay?

Unless the rules have changed from when i was a board member ..
this is the process that should have been followed.

The blsme for this lies directly on MY shoulders. Mine and mine
alone.
Kim has been consulting me on clan issues and I have been
putting my 2 cents in.
This psrticular day I had suffered several personal betrayals
and it caused me to over react to the news I recieved about
tink.
This was my own personal mistake.
I will no longer have any consulting done. I am stepping
copletely back and will have no more input in the clan than a jr
member would.
I cannot contact tink and appologize and accept personal blame
for thus. I would like to. I would also like to ask him to
reconsider and if me leaving the clan completely is what it
would take I am willing to do so.
Anyone in contact with tink- I would appreciste someone getting
this info to tink.
I would personally beg him to come back if I could. I'm sorry my
personal issues caused me to fuck up this clan. It will no
longer be an issye. I am sorry snd appologise to every member
ofb this clsn.

True, the board was not consulted, in full, prior to Tink being
locked out. As a result, the board didn't follow its own
rules. It was obviously a mistake, which was admitted to in
very sincere apology, with a vow that this will not happen
again. All of the Board has been put on notice, myself
included, that this type of unilateral action cannot happen
again. Mistakes happen. We all have lapses in judgment. We
are all not perfect. We just need to make sure that his doesn't
happen again. If it does, then there should be consequences for
the board.
We are in the process of updating and revising the Clan policy
document, denoting rights and responsibilities. All members
will have a chance to review and comment.

TKE, this is an issue that I see so often here and it drives me
nuts that a group as seasoned as we all are still have this kind
of shit popping up. This whole he said she said garbage is
just... dumb! I don't want to drag this out more than it has
been, too many people are up in arms about this and it is this
kind of crap that will kill this clan from the inside out. The
total cohesiveness will deteriorate and member will start to
clique up again so on and so forth, this is the inevitable at
the going rate. Everyone needs to remember what this clan was
started for, for a group of people, 40+ to get together and play
a video game, a damn fun video game, but a game none the less.
Everyone here is essentially equal, there are people that are
higher up, but no better than me or anyone else. I would reach
out to tink if I even knew him a bit, but I don't, but I know
folks here have to and should. Tell him that shit happened,
tempers flared and he was the unfortunate victim of a tantrum
started by someone else throwing him under the bus. Forward the
messages to him and see what he says. Everyone else, just
realize that there are some petty, childish people out there
that claim to be adults and if this happens to you, be patient
and understand that shit just happens and it's not your fault
and please don't hold a grudge, it's just not worth it.
