My philosophy is that if a platoon mate is close to an
achievement TG/Radleys then I work to get them over the hump.
It may be tough to platoon with the expressed purpose of getting
someone to the top of the charts, especially since Kills is less
heavily weighted than damage.

I play almost exclusively medium tanks - I'm usually about
supporting my platoon mates. 'I'll light them up, you shoot
them" or "You keep their attention while I get behind them and
shoot them in the ass".

Faethor47 and I have a friend who is just getting started and I
try this tactic with him. It worked pretty well the other night.
I would track the red and he got the kill. He still has an issue
not running into walls with his driving though... Even on
Westfield LOL. If there's a wall... He'll find it.

This is pretty awesome. Exactly what I feel this game (and hell,
even life) is all about.. unselfishness, teamwork, etc. It would
be bad ass to roll out in a medium knowing you have a couple of
heavy hitting tanks sitting behind you. Or vice versa.

I'm currently running Heavy's and TD's and that's the other side
of how I play with the platoon. If I'm in a heavy and they've
got two mediums or TD's with me, I'll go hull down in the center
lane (assuming I know good hull-down positions on that map) and
let them know 'ok, he's got his eyes on me - make your move for
a flank' and if he turns turret I'll warn and take a shot at the
exposed side/back of his turret.
