Issue with Loading Screen After Update

FYI - a lot of players (Myself including) are having an issue
with the game hanging on the "Loading Consumables & Equipment"
screen after the update.
WG is aware of it and is looking into it:

They are not suggesting a delete and re-download at this time as
they don't think it will fix the issue.

You may not even be affected. I know I am because I tried
launching after I downloaded the patch this morning before
leaving for work.

Latest update says there are about 5,500 people playing, but
lots of others are having the issue.
Engineers and looking into it....

Hello fellow OFFers, for those who are having trouble logging on
after new update, it seems that if you were on some unknown time
before the update, it somehow hangs up the game. I don't
understand how, but my main account seems unaffected, but my
secondary account is hanging up like a lot of other peoples are.
I'm hearing that deletion and reinstalling the game does not
solve the issue. I have considered deleting EVERYTHING and
reinstalling, but wouldn't that erase your achievements and any
gold and stuff you've accumulated. :shitshitshit: :oversmoke:

Same issue here. Stuck on the synchronizing equipment and
consumables screen. :fuckyou: :pissed: :shitshitshit:

Sounds like the same issue we had in Beta last December. Spent
the last week of December into the middle of January sans WOT
due to that issue. Had to run a secondary account.
