What are Mercenary Tanks good for?!
       By: Drakona4 Date: August 13, 2018, 2:04 pm

       Okay all:
I've collected a few Mercenary tanks.
And I've got to say, for all of them:
       - the tanks is okay...not great
       - the tank will perform very well if top tier, okay when its
down one, and terrible if its down two
       - either way I have to shoot a lot of premium rounds to get
       decent performance (from my POV)
So what are Mercenary tanks good for?! Is it busy-work for us?
I mean, I've stopped grinding up the various tank lines as I
turned all my attention to acquiring and fulfilling contracts...
is/was that the point? A distraction?!

To make us forget about the other ongoing tasks until it’s too
       late :dick:

It's just a marketing ploy, one to get people who have given up
on the game to give it another try. It is a huge reason why so
many idiots are playing lately and since they're trying to
complete ops for their mercenary tank they're playing
       exclusively for themselves.
Some really smart college kid came up with the idea and if I
ever find him I'll kick him in the nuts until he says sorry

Sorry. I did suggest that an amphibious tank be added to the
Merc line. Each stage of the contract would include a
progressive number of drowning/hit by arty in order to complete
the OP. The Angry Duck tank would be an amphibious version of
the Death Star, with a German 88 autoloader variant.
In addition it's crew when spotting a team member camping the
base will bust out in Donald Duck cursing.

And, for it's gun to be operational, it must have 50% tracks
immersed in a body of water (any puddles less than 1/4 acre
don't count), and it's "water camo" activated. Depending on the
map, this water camo looks like water surface (light blue, or
whatever color the water is), a large stand of cattails, or a
small island. For winter maps, it would be the same, except have
snow/ice in the mix. It also has the light tank camo bonus.
The Angry Duck tank will sport the French roundel - it can look
like an "eye" on the side of the turret. It will also be an
"every nation" crew trainer, earning a 15% XP bonus, a 15%
silver bonus, and a 25% Crew XP bonus.
Tier 6, +/- 2 MM, TD status, comes with binos, and the crew
comes with the Swimming Lessons perk.

       quack !
       Back the original question: nuthin’
Haven’t tried one, can’t imagine trying one.
       I have only two missions...
       1 Getting a tier X Arty
       2 Getting a tier X TD
That’s gonna take another two years :child:
