Nice Jake! My black powder collection currently just has the
previously mention repro Remington 1858 New Army and a repro
Colt 1860 Army both in .44. Would love to add a Walker, a
Patterson, and a Navy like yours. 6 shots, but typically only 5
were loaded as you would want to rest the hammer on an empty
chamber. Shooting these old girls gives you a lot of respect for
the men who had to carry them.

yep, 6 shot Chuck
John that’s my one and only pistola. Such a hassle in my state
to get anything
Lots of long iron in the safe, though
Yeh, back in the day you had them 5 or six shots and you were
SOL after that
as Steve Earle sang “it could git you into trouble but it
couldn’t get ya out”

I had one of those but with brass accents, lost it in a move.
Had to report the loss to the RCMP, they asked a lot a questions
and did a detailed inspection of the rest of my guns. They
spent a lot time looking at my M1 Grand, apparently not common
to see here in Canada, and the fact I was filling my own
casings.

The Garand is probably my favorite rifle in the safe. Mine is a
CMP service grade. Sure wish they still sold the cheap Greek
ammo. Oddly enough, I have a Canadian issued Lee Enfield No 1 Mk
4 as well. Another one that doesn't get out often due to surplus
ammo not being available for years. Don't even get me started on
all the South Afrikan 7.62x51 surplus I burned thru like it
would never run out... makes me want to cry big salty tears

Ok, so last Friday I was having a hell day. To many people here
where I work think their job is supposed to be easy and on that
day they just kept coming in my office asking for stupid,
unnecessary shit. Just about the time I'm ready to give up and
go home early the Administrative Sergeant walks in carrying not
one but two WWII MP40's. One of them still had the Nazi symbol
on it! So I'm all like :hubba: and he laughs saying he was
taking them to the gun locker and thought I would like to see
them before they get put away. It made my day.

No magazines for them :palm:
Old guy died and the wife called afterward saying she had these
guns of his and did not know what to do with them. WWII vet, he
snuck them home. If only we had the mags I'd be at the range
with Admin Sgt today!

Just wanted to say to all who read this how Thankful I am to be
here among great tankers (and Maddog).
Some of my precious spare time off work has been spent among
you. It’s been some of the Best time of these last few years.
Enjoying the camaraderie, playing a game I really love with
people of like mind is a wonderful pastime.
Despite never devoting time to various numbers/angles/weakspots,
I have raised my gameplay because of you.
The Happiness I have had because of youse guys an' goils is
precious in times like these.
:salute:Long Live OFF :salute:
