I was corrected on the forum when I said gold. MaxChaos states
it's brass. Kinda of a throwback to Revolutionary war cannons.
Hence the rammers and swabs on the back of the turret.
It was pointed out that the Continental Army did not have many
brass cannon except for captured British one. The majority were
made from iron. So....they should make it darker.
No response to that lol.

How much does brasso cost? Keeping that brass gun shiny after a
couple of firings would be fun to watch.
