Dusty Hooves PA-TROLL Event

So we had a great time running the TOG Tuesday alternative
PA-TROLL event...which if you don't know is a 5 man platoon of
PZ V/IVs :1foryou:
well except one of us which doesn't have a V/IV...cough... uh...

This event was inspired by hatemail to Oxi from the illustrious
Dusty Hooves ( :dick:)
Thanks to SgtEhrenfried, Drakona4, DragonVet97, GrandTitan99 for
some fun games :celebrate:....oh...we made quite a bit of
silvers as well :coin:...
(well at least in the games where we weren't 2 tiers down
:bash:)

James, Andrew, and myself also enjoyed several games in the V/IV
last night (except for the one on Lakeview :palm: ). We also
drove some French tanks to take advantage of the win.

I heartily second BattleAxe: DustyHooves deserves a huge 'thank
you' :celebrate:... which I'd be happy to deliver if I ever see
him in a game... :snowball:
The battles, even when we were down two tiers, were still pretty
competitive. :ammo:
Fourteen battles, nine wins (64%), and since two of the loses in
there were hilarious, I have absolutely no regrets! :wink:
Several of the wins, I gotta say, I felt pretty troll-y... they
actually let us be top tier several times, and in one of those,
there were many, many fours!! (so _much_ carnage...) :troll:
You haven't lived until you've ram-killed an AMX-40 who is
gamely charging you while you bounce shots off his armor.
Speaking of Ramming, DragonVet got the 'Maximum Overdrive'
achievement!! I never even knew that that was a _thing_!!
Very much looking forward to the next paTROLL event!

OK...so last night we ran the V/IVs again....OMG... :scream:
:hitself: :fainting: :thumbsdown: :shit: :puke: :bash: :arty:
Matchmaking, green potatoes...RNG...everything was against
us...it was BRUTAL... :grenade: :fuckyou:
Moved up to Cromwell type platoons...did better but still
:oversmoke:

Yeah, the V/IV platoon games were 80% awful. Tier VII matches
where the Tier V platoon owned quite a few of the top five
slots... not a great sign in our losses...
Not sure what was up with that. Went up a tier, and as
BattleAxe said, the Cromwell platoons were doing fine.

Doth thou smell a WOT conspiracy against V/IV platoons? Or might
it be that WOT has modified MM across the board. Yesterday the
majority of games I played were Team Destruction - anyone else
find this phenomenon?
