Looking for Thoughts on the Scorpion G

It seems like every game that I'm in with a Scorpion G, they end
up near the top of leader boards. If anyone in the clan has
one, I'd be interested in hearing what you think about it...

It is a Borsig with the 12.8cm gun, lower camo factor (due to
it's height) and more speed....decent vehicle, and like the
Borsig you can play in a ten game successfully.

Most people really like this tank, I'm not one of them. To be
fair I'm seeing mostly tier X games in it but I've found the gun
lacks pen (imagine that, I'm shooting X's) and the camo factor
is terrible. I bought the package deal with the Mutz, Patton
and this tank and the Mutz if by far my favorite of them all.

It is a very good tank, except the cammo factor, it might as
well scream "HERE I AM!!!"

Not my play style to sit so far back, but I laugh hard as I hit
for 400 or more damage with any shot no matter the armour and
for the most part slope.

I wish I would have kept track of my hits to pen ratio, it is
laughable James. I'll get 8 or more shots, hit 6 or so and end
the game with 3 pens...shooting premium stuff. Makes it a hard
tank to like when RNG treats you like that.

Duck and I glowed over the Skorp G on Supertest and bought the 3
tank package when it was released. Now I, like Duck prefer the
Mutz over it.

I love it. Already have my first MOE on it. 128 gun as a beast
and can crack a Tier 10 like a soft egg. Concealment is your
Concern with this tank. Rated at 36. Other than that, I drive it
like my Hellcat. Did I mention it is one of the best silver
earners. Rutgers note is misleading. While it is a 128, the gun
has more pen and alpha. I have no issues with it and 10s. Ripped
an IS 7 up from the front using reg ulnar ammo. Did use prem to
do the same with a 100 ton. To my earlier comment and James'
point, concealment is the issue.

Silver bonus is 50, XP bonus is 15, so its for sure meant as a
money-maker (no, Brad, it is not your butt).
Penetration is 185-308, which is pretty good for a Tier VIII,
with damage being 368-613. Easily can 2-shot most VIs and some
VIIs.
With a highly trained crew - no sense in using it for a crew
trainer - that has the main TD Skills/Perks, ie, Camo, Muffled
Shot, Green Thumb, Recon, and Situational Awareness, and a Camo
Net, this thing would be a beast.
Tempting, but I have enough premium tanks, and this one will
have to wait.
